  1. I saw where they are still missing the Whetsel kid and the Wilkerson kid last night, so that might make a little difference. However, the Minor kid did play. I think they will have a "down" year for Fulton. That doesn't mean they will be terrible because Coach Wright can take some average players and coach them up better than anyone. My guess is that a .500 year would be good for them this year.
  2. Just wondering what's up with Fulton's girls team this year. I though I saw where they got beat 62-14 by Seymour last week. How come Fulton's other sports programs seem to excell, but the girls team has so much trouble?
  3. You got to have your brother to hold your hand? BTW, Fulton would have lost to Carter week 1 had it not been for some BONE-headed coaching.
  4. We just wish you all would give it a rest. We don't have time to conduct off-season workouts, recruit, and answer all the questions on here. By the way, if you can't beat us, you might as well join us. So, if you have any kids who are potential blue-chippers, please give us a call and we'll take care of the rest ! Sincerely, Central Coaching Staff
  5. It's amazing how upset mature adults can get over high school football. It's just a game, guys. Get a grip and quit living for the "glory days."
  6. That's pretty funny, but Trousdale could be the team to humble the falcons. Their coach is one of the best in the state and their kids will be ready to play. I'm not picking against Fulton, but they better not get the big head at this point or it could end in a hurry.
  7. Man, this crow isn't really that bad after all. Good thing I don't pick games for a living, huh? Congratulations to Maryville for beating a solid Cleveland team. I personally don't see any other teams out there capable of beating them right now. By the way, did Cleveland or Maryville have more fans at the game?
  8. I agree bmith. The QB is only going to be as good as the players surrounding him. It may be a bit premature to say he could be the best in Knoxville until we see what the rest of the team looks like. I'm sure some of Vanderbilt's past QB's could have been the best in the SEC as well.
  9. So, what you are saying is that Maryville has an advantage because parents can choose to send their kids there EVEN if they don't live in that zone? Just because none of the other schools can do that doesn't make it unfair does it?
  10. Man, it really shows great intelligence to get on here and call people stupid because they believe Maryville will get beat. What's funny is the way you Maryville fans respond when someone picks against them. Believe it or not, not everyone worships the rebels as you all do. Yes, I have seen Carl Stewart play, and yes, I have seen Levante Barber play. Based on the performances I saw from both teams, Cleveland is the more athletic team and has the potential for more big plays. Also, Maryville has not played a team that runs the wing-t as Cleveland does and that's hard to simulate with your scout team in practice. Again, I look for Cleveland to win by at least 10. If they don't, I'll get on next week and eat crow. How many of you rebel faithful will show your faces next week if you get it handed to you?
  11. Central is the closest thing to Cleveland that Maryville has seen this year and that was a close one. Maryville may keep it close for 3 quarters, but look for Cleveland to win by at least 10. They will control the ball and the clock and dare Maryville to throw it to beat them. You boys from Maryville better get ready to share your "victory" cone cakes with the blue raiders on Friday night!
  12. Finally, a post by a Maryville fan that is worth reading! Maybe all you other Maryville sheep out there will be educated by this learn-ed individual. By the way, I've seen both teams this year and I think Cleveland will pull off the upset, especially if all 400 of their fans get rowdy.
  13. Come on now, dancing and showboating/trashtalking is a part of the game. We guarantee these players when we recruit them that they can have unlimited showboating time on the field. We think it's a good trade-off. I mean, otherwise, these kids would be playing at their zoned schools! Sincerely, Central coaching staff
  14. It may get crowded under those bleachers when the Central players start looking for places to hide after getting it handed to them on Friday.
  15. johnnypaw, just for your info - Halls and Cleveland do not run the same type of offense. Your football knowledge, or lack of, is beginning to show through.
  16. Wife, it's good to know that everything is so "peachy" at Central. Honestly, no one on here gives a crap. I hope all the coaches you mention can continue to be so happy once they are busted for their recruiting. You are either completely obvlivious to what's going on at Central or in denial. Why is it that you guys all want everyone to ID themselves on here? Maybe because you're getting a little nervous about who knows what? Believe me when I tell you that the people posting on here are not exclusive to one school. Call any coach throughout the KFL and ask them about the recruiting going on at Central and they will backup any info that has been presented on here. You guys must have read the new Johnny Cochran book, "How to defend something even when you know it's wrong."
  17. If redrage recruited the Knoxville area like the three coaches you mentioned then I'm sure you would have already seen his name on here! Do you really think those guys can go around Knoxville picking and choosing athletes and not get called out for it? Give me a break. Transfers are legal. Transfers initiated by contact from football coaches are not legal! Also, nobody cares if any other schools has ever had a player out of their zone play for them. It's about what is going on in the present, not what happened in the 1970's and 80's.
  18. The truth hurts doesn't it boats?
  19. If we want to put the truth out there, lets talk about how many players on the 1991 Powell State team were living out of zone. (as previously posted by CHSKITTY) Just wondering, where was Coach Kelly coaching in 1991?
