Phibbs pitched against Karns last week in a Non-District game in the Oak Ridge Tournament. The other two pitchers that pitched last night were Josh Chittum and Willie Buchanan.

Im going to have to say Powell because no one thinks they are that good, but i believe that they might surprise some people.

We started Nate Slaton who struggled in the first inning giving up 6 runs but he also pitched some in the LC game so sitting didnt help any. Then we brought in Willie Buchanan who pitched well at first then gave a grand slam later after short warm up. Then we brought in Josh Chittum who pitched well but after a 10 run deficit its hard to get back in the game. Bearden just killed the ball and we didnt is what it came down to.

I know about some of the better pitchers in these districts but i was wondering on everyones thoughts.

I'm not a Clinton fan because I go to Halls but i am pulling for you all 100% in the state. Show everyone what our district is made of. Go Clinton bring back the gold

I say West should watch for all of our hitters and not underestimate any of them because they can all hit just we are having a hard time getting all of them to hit at the same time. So I say who ever brings their bats tomorrow should come out a winner. Can't wait.

I agree with Waldrop and Eldridge from Farragut because we scrimmaged them last night and they are the real deal all around.

If Cleveland can't stop West's running game then they are in for a long night because #17 and #7 are very athletic and very good. If #7 has more than 5 catches Cleveland loses because he is a playmaker, but if Cleveland can stop their running game then that makes West 1 dimensional and very beatable. I hope West pulls it out.

I dont know guys but I think that Halls upsets either Central or Maryville. Just be ready they had an off year last year and now they're back and staying for awhile. I also see Central beating Maryville.

Halls' Fresmen class should be pretty strong seeing as super midgets they went undefeated and won the city-county championship.

well Halls stayed with DB pretty good last night both teams scoring 1 apice, and if you dont think that they are going to be any good come and watch the red-white game tomorrow night at 6. Then you will see some players.

Halls and DB both split with one td apice. Sloppy, but Halls was better than i expected and DB was worse than i expected,but they also had 7 players out for track.

I'm not sure but I bet Jeff Lockwood will pitch for Halls since he is there ace and hard to beat.

16 Thunder should be the team to beat this year but the East Tennessee Stars will also be tuff. We picked up a player or 2 from Thunder and also have good quality varsity players.

Last time out sophomore Daniel Larsen threw for Halls in the 7-2 outing. Halls beat Maryville in a scrimmage early in the season though. I'm sure Jeff Lockwood will get the start he's hard to beat at the plate and on the mound.
