  1. I hope we have different referees than today's games. Let's go Maryville Rebels!!
  2. Ditto from me BigPhil1300. In the words of John Rambo, "They drew first blood..."
  3. This game could be the start of something special. Good to see two traditional powers in this game.
  4. That right there is funny... Let's get down to business - to defeat the Huns Did they send me daughters when I asked for sons? You're the saddest bunch I've ever met But you can bet before we're through Mister, I'll make a man out of you
  5. I'm pulling for WB in this one. I think this is a winnable game for the G-Men.
  6. Alcoa is in Blount County and Swain and Blount County share a common border. Gatlinburg-Pittman is probably the easiest TN school to get to with Heritage or Pigeon Forge second. Come down US129 and play Greenback. After last night I can truely say Alcoa is Beast!
  7. I saw an awesome football game last night. I hate that the RR's lost, but games like this are what make rivalries great. Keep playing games like this and the numbers in attendance will grow exponentially. Now both teams need to finish out the year with wins.
  8. Just wanted to say HEY!

  9. I think the Tribe sinks the Admirals this year. Too much to replace and too early for FHS.
  10. Here is the USA Today: 1. St. Thomas Aquinas, Fort Lauderdale (11-0) 2. Don Bosco Prep, Ramsey, N.J. (10-0) 3. Byrnes, Duncan, S.C. (12-1) 4. Centennial, Peoria, Ariz. (13-0) 5. Oaks Christian, Westlake Village, Calif. (11-0) 6. Cedar Hill, Texas (12-0) 7. Highlands, Fort Thomas, Ky. (13-0) 8. Oscar Smith, Chesapeake, Va. (12-0) 9. Madison Central, Madison, Miss. (13-0) 10. Maine South, Park Ridge, Ill. (13-0) 11. Katy, Texas (11-1) 12. Jenks, Okla. (12-0) 13. North Penn, Lansdale, Pa. (12-0) 14. Grayson, Loganville, Ga. (12-0) 15. Stony Point, Round Rock, Texas (11-1) 16. West Monroe, La. (12-0) 17. Auburn, Ala. (13-0) 18. Miami Northwestern (10-1) 19. Glenville, Cleveland (12-1) 20. Crenshaw, Los Angeles (11-0) 21. 11. Tom Joad, is that you? I haven't talked to you since we were cell mates in McAlester. The last I heard you were off to California. As you can see I spent some time up in Tulsa.
  12. How will we know which on is you RR. Bladerunner might be there looking for Greyrider or Starsnbars and might want to say hi.
  13. I don't really see what the big deal with hotel rooms is. If they have enough hotel rooms to handle TTU graduations then they will have plenty of rooms for the championships. I think Murfreesboro kinda got complacent over the years and relied on the fact that they are the geographic center of the state. I hope my team makes it to Cookeville this year, but I might go anyway since it is so much easier to get to.

    Maryville

When I lived in Oklahoma my kids went to Union Public Schools. If I hadn't gotten transferred back home to Maryville, my oldest would be at Union with 4,202.37 students. Here is the OK top 5 in enrollment. There have been some years when I think we (Maryville) might match up w/ Union but not year-in year-out. Union plays Jenks for the 6A title Friday night in Stillwater at the T. Boone Pickens Stadium. OK Enrollment Top 5 1 Broken Arrow 4459.33 2 Union 4202.37 3 Jenks 2889.43 4 Owasso 2563.42 5 Mustang 2255.19
  15. I think the NET or upper east TN, is the only place in the state that calls it's district and/or region a conference and gives it a name. I tried to get everyone to call Region 3 4A the Snow White Conference. It didn't take.
  16. I thought this was about the Maryville Rebels playing the Doyle Pioneers?
  17. I don't think it is Greyrider, because he lives right down the hill from me in Maryville. His wife wouldn't let him play LB at Karns.
  18. I agree Alcoa's Marsh Pit is crazy. At last seasons Alcoa @ Maryville BBall game they were insane. They make a lot of noise for a small school.
  19. One of my former co-workers son plays for Jenks. My kids went to Union when we lived out there. We couldn't live in the Jenks zone because their colors are maroon/white which looks alot like Alcoa. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Union is good old red/black.
