Listen up how are yall gonna talk about chapel hill when theres a team just down the road thats as good if not better. Im mean weve got the best infielders and for sure the best catcher/centerfielder in the disrict . Yall know whom im talkin about i dont have to say no name ill just say that we've won two straight district championships, and a region championshipin the last 3 years. Ok i cant stand it no more yall no who imtalkin about yes it is RICHLAND. I mean tell the truth we've been the power house and still dont get any recognition. And i aint gonna lie chapel hill is good, but we did split with them last year. But they did beat us when it counted. Ill go ahead and tell you we have lost alot of players but still have some great young players. To go along with our 5th year seniors who started in the 8th grade. And im glad to see everyone getting better becouse for the past 4 years this disrtict has been made fun. But i hope to see Chapel Hill again in the tourney.

im sick and tired of all these people talking about how richland has no passing game as far as i know we have the 2nd best in the region. And our receivers are very good. Im mean all in all richland has the best receivers in the region. If you haters dont think so try to guard us. As i told waverly" U CANT GUARD ME"!!!!

Man im from Richland, and all that Ive heard these last couple of days was how good Giles County is. Well looks like to em that yall stink again and better be ready to face us or its gonna be a blow out at Sam Davis. Oh and again Man yall stink way to LCHS.ha ha

Ok, lets get one thing strait Giles County. Yall say that yalls work ethic has been change so much by this "New Coach" . Well im a senior and yall have been saying the same ol stuff for the past 3yrs. And yall are always saying that you will beat Richland so bad ,but you never do it. So what makes yall think that yall can do it. Besides Richland has alot of people returning and so does Giles County. But face it yall are still the same team and yeah yall have gotten stronger, but think about this Richland has gotten back some of their players that had to sit out last season and they have alot of young kids with talent. And no matter how strong Giles is Richland will always be stronger just for the simple fact that Richland playrs love to work out. And if Richland can hold Deangelo than they can win cause face it Deangelo is Giles County's team.

I would not misjudge the young and talented raiders. They have alot of new infulence on them but new players and new coaches. I dont talk trash I'm just saying straight up the RAIDERS will rise to the TOP again!!!

Tyler Farris has only one more chance to proove himself to the Region 5aa. I'm sure he will do his best to make sure this season improves immesley for the raiders. He is a great defensive player but not yet prooved himself on offense. good luck ya'll!

Number55, Yeah, Tyler Farris was the one who finished 1st in the weightlifting competition. He is also working harder than ever this summer to finish up his h/s dream of the Raiders making it to the 5aa playoffs. To tell you the truth I would watch for him on both offense and defense. Oh yeah, and he didnt even do his complete max on the lifts at the weightlifting meet. goodluck to ya'll!!

What about Wallace that played football at richland in 84"-87"?? He pretty much lead the way in 87 to the Region championship. Without him where would they have been?

I'll have to give credit to Brandon Tutan he's a good pitcher and I think that he's the reason Mt. Pleasant is advancing. But you have to think about one thing you cant ride his arm all the way to through the state. I think in the newspaper his earned run average was .94 well after the game yesterday that changed and the bad thing was that the 4 runs didnt come off base hits they came off homeruns. So all I have to say is I wish the best of luck to Chapel Hill. And if your crowd stays on the players like they stayed on me when yall played us then yall will have a good chance of winning this game because they cant take the pressure.

The raiders swept forrest lastnight making them regular season champions in district 11a

what about the district and region champ Richland Raiders who put beatings on Columbia Academy and Mt. Pleasant last year beating both by the ten run rule limit in the region. Even though they lost a very good senior class last year they still have alot of experienced players.

the richland raider team, you know the one that everyone always seems to over look has hit 23 hrs. this year and still has 6 regular season games left. And those 23 hrs. have came from only 6 people. Jon Jackson leads the team with 11 next is Jamie Whitworth with 6 after him its Chris Sisk and Caleb Moore with 2 a piece and Corey Pickett and Dustin Oertle each have 1.

oh and one more thing, we didnt appreciate was what said to our third baseman by the COACH of forrest, not the players. immature.

Sorry to offend anyone, but Forrest is the only team we play where the players have great sportsmanship and the coach tries to get in the other team's head by showing horrible sportsmanship. Honestly, i've never seen a coach talk to the officials more than she did.

Watch out for Eagleville they are fast and smart. They also have a good coach. The whole team plays with heart but they are the underdawg and that will lead them to the upset.

The Lady Raiders played a hard faught game lastnight aginst the #1 team in the district but came up short. Go out there tonight and play with all you got and win the game. Good Luck
