Thank you! Well, It looked like to me, that the JC QB, is getting back healthy. He's obviously been playing a little banged up the past few weeks. I say that, because earlier in the season his running ability was a weapon. But in the last few games, JC has not been using that threat. However, against FA, he was able to execute the Qb draw a few times. That worked really well earlier in the season. That along with a few others getting back healthy was a big benefit for us. FA also turned over the ball a few times which is never good against a decent team as Jackson Christian. Now, please don't misconstrue that, as an excuse as to why we lost to y'all. The Evil Empire, this year was clearly the better team due to the fact that our defense is soft. The least amount of points we've given up is 28 and that was against Chester Co. I'm no football guru but I believe Y'all will beat FA. Idk where that game is played at, but if it's played in Somerville, you will need to get there early or take a chair because their visitor's side SUCKS! ...Good luck against NC.

Thank you ReitzFan! Jackson Christian, only announced the name change 3 or 4 years ago. Yet you are the only media Person in our City, who gets it right. ... Also congratulations to Fayette Academy for y'alls win against us last night. FA has a fine team with a great QB. Jackson Christian is a very young team and the future looks bright for us, so hopefully we can turn it around get back to where we once were.

Jackson Christian's Elementary and Middle School both went undefeated this season. In the mean time, I'm patiently waiting for two years to pass and for Country Club Ln to be hopping once again. The Evil Empire, might want to save up, because y'all might have some heavy dues to pay.

In a few years everyone in the state that follows High School Sports will know who Lakeway is, trust me.

Thank You! I can tell you that Jackson Christian Middle beat TCA 40-20 last night and the Elementary ran USJ of the field a few nights ago. So maybe things are starting to turn around for my Eagles program.

This is sad. I would have thought there would have been one Chester Co Fan out there somewhere. And I can remember when Jackson Christian Fans were all over this board. Oh well, good luck to my Eagles tonight.

D14A Chester Co @ D2A Jackson Christian.... After seeing Jackson Christian play @ D2 FACS, this is what I know about them. Offensively, they are very well balanced between the run and passing game. The O line is as good as I have seen over there in years. The Defense for the most part did well against FACS. However, they had a let down in the 4th quarter and let FACS take the lead. Jackson Christian was able to come back and regain the lead with 50 seconds remaining on the clock. I was wondering if anyone could share any info on Chester Co and your thoughts about this match up. I'm a Jackson Christian fan and my concern is, that Chester Co is a much bigger school and I'm afraid our O and D line will wear down late in the game. I know Chester Co lost last week but how good was Fayette Ware? Any info on Chester Co, such as Qb, running backs O and D line would be appreciated. ....GO Eagles! ...Jackson Christian Eagles that is.

The addition of South Gibson hurt the enrollment and therefore the numbers were down for football. Also, for several years there were just not many good players. However, they have gone from 28 dressed out to well over 50 or so. Jackson Christian has a very good O line, good Qb and two very good receivers. I'm not to sure yet about the defense, but they do have pretty good linebacker play. Over all they are a young team. They are a better team than years past but will that translate to a better record or even a playoff appearance? Probably not because as we all know they are in a very tough region. I'm not talking smack, I'm just excited that for now, it looks like the program over on Country Club Lane, is headed back in the right direction. .....Go Eagles!

I know and I'm sure I'm not the only one on here that knows why Coach Bland got run off from Humboldt. However, I'm not bringing that subject up here. I would love to have Coach Bland leading the team I pull for because we sure could use a good Coach like him right about now. Does anyone know if he's coaching now and if so, where? ...Thanks!

Yeah, we need to keep them from going to South Gibson. ..lol..Seriously though, unless things change over there, and I mean from the President and some on the Board of Directors, I don't ever see JC being a real threat in D2. I mean they will compete well with the lower tier and they will occasionally slip up on an traditional Power house as they did DCA a few years ago, but that's about it. I don't see them taking advantage of being able to give financial aid, at least when it comes to good Athletes. They didn't do it the last time they were in D2, so I see no reason to believe they will this time. And that's what they'll have to do, to be on the same level with likes of Knoxville Webb, Harding Academy and the St.George's of D2.
