I love the no class state tourney in Kentucky. Would love to see it in TN but gotta reward as many ppl as possible at the end of the year to keep em happy so would never happen.

heck of a recruiter and retainer as seen by his roster. Ive watched him 4 times all against inferior opponents per usual and he's 2-2 so hard to judge pure coaching at that level because the talent is so lopsided for him 99% of the time. He’s in a sweet spot where he gets great players at a small school and has to win 2 real games to get a ship every year. Still impressive.

I agree TN public school ball is weak atm anybody who watches a big variety knows this. (Could be a cycle maybe not) Whether it be players going out of state for prep or the private side. This state really didn't need 4A it watered the comp down big time. Oh well the games moves on.

They have 4 Shaun Groves - signed UT Martin, (Will never even play much at even at that level) Zech Prince signed Indiana state, then Isaiah and Elijah are both D1 athletes. But Middleton has 10-12 small college ball type athletes. ER has 4 and ive watched them a dozen times when it comes to highly comp basketball scene they are decent to good athletes. Should be a good matchup for 1A can’t beat it.

Why am I barely seeing the “14th best player in the country in 2025” #17 Cameron Sparks play for Baylor. Doesn't start on defense anymore nor play and barely plays offense and when he does its half butt receiver blocking which has led to him riding the pine for 2 quarter there as well? Plz tell me he has some weird injury

Watched ER all year and they were clicking on all cylinders last night. Defense, taking care of the ball, shot selection, and just flat out balling. That Peabody team was a team full of in/out transfers (who beat half the top teams in A and AA this year) while these boys from East have been playing together since being small kids. Truly great to see for a bunch of great kids and community. And to add I made a thread weeks ago about Taylor Groves getting robbed of not being a Mr. basketball Finalist and I’m glad he got the last laugh @tssaa.

You may be right I only watched them for a half and noticed they beat Memphis East by 1 in 2OT and 9 and figured they had to be somewhat similar basketball teams. Watching and in picture Amarr Knox is 6’2 and thin I see a couple of guys that look taller like you said maybe a couple of 6’5’s which most teams at this level have but like I said all look quick and wirey. I’m rooting for Beech you have to understand there is a bias like you have one for Bartlett lol I’ve only seen Bartlett play one half but when I check their schedule and East takes them to 2OT and then loses by 9 in the next one I have to assume they are somewhat similar. No one is doubting Bartlett is a really good basketball team and is probably favored in this game for most ppl.

Best player in Metro Nashville in 30 years on a great team in Cane Ridge. Plus 10-12 other future D-1 including 3-4 power 5 players so I don’t thinks its weak. Watering down class restructure hurt 2A-3A not 4A much.
