I’m at the point it doesn’t matter to me if Greene or Betsy beats AC as long as one of them does. There’s been some AC fans (not all) with a lot jibber jabber babbling all season long about how this is their year to win it all. It could be, but it may not be either. I believe in the 1st game I had mentioned in the post something like, the Betsy coaching staff would have a good plan for AC, and they did. Almost won the game in overtime. Now for the 2nd go around. My thoughts are, the Betsy coaching staff will have their team ready again and another good game plan to boot, plus you add in the confidence the team is playing with and a little revenge in their minds. It sounds like an upset ready to happen! Go Cyclones until you meet Greene again

I can’t speak for the rest of the teams you mentioned. The last 2 times Greeneville & Alcoa played, they split. 2011 Greeneville won 42-14, 2012 Alcoa won 42-0.

Rockwood by fiddy. SG has improved, but I do not know if that offense has improved enough? I’d like to see them get the W and move to the 2 round, but I don’t think it happens. Are they still having this game? It wasn’t listed on CT scoreboard a few mins ago for 11/4.

Pretty good game. CD is loaded with speed and decent QB that can sling it. WG has some athletes as well. #1 for WG is a difference maker. He’s the real deal and WG needs to get the ball in his hands more often.

If not mistaken, Clemson fans go on the field after every home win. It’s a tradition there, at least that’s what I heard on sports podcast a few days ago. Don’t take my word for it though. I could’ve missed interpreted what I heard. Boone getting by a very good team and going 10-0, is almost to them like it was for the VOLS beating bama after 15 years. Isn’t this the 1st time is Boone’s school history that they’ve ever gone undefeated in a season? I know the Dogs are probably thinking what if, or man we were so close. However, I think the Dogs would much rather bring back their 1st ever championship back to NET, and I think they have very good opportunity in front of them to make that happen. They got to there last year, and think the team has thrived from it. They look like a championship team and I think they get it done. One game at a time though, and their new journey to Chatta starts this coming Friday.

Listen to the game on the radio. The Dogs were ready and dominated majority of the game. Not sure where Boone was at, maybe had their heads in the clouds? It sounded like to me Jenkins was also getting out coached the majority of the game as well. I’ll say this, Boone is fortunate to come out with the W. Congrats to Boone on their 10-0 season. And for the Dogs, I believe they have a real solid shot for bringing back that championship to North East TN here in a couple of months. Very Solid performance tonight and you had the #4 5a team in the state on the ropes up until the last 2mins. I don’t think anyone in 2a is looking forward to meeting up with the Dogs in the post season.

Was all of the 4 INTS after Martin was injured or was it just 2? He was great a QB. How many INTS did Ballard have in that game? He was great a QB as well.

WG seems to have improved quiet a bit since the beginning of the season. Getting a little better each week. I do think it will be a great game and great atmosphere, but I’m not sure WG has enough horses? CD has really good team; I’m impressed with what the 1st year head coach has done there this season. I can see CD pulling away in the 4qtr, but who knows? I would say this, it is one of the biggest county games in Greene County in a very long time. I would expect the majority of Greene County to be in lower after Afton Friday night for this huge game. Good luck to both teams CD 42 WG 31

I hope he plays to. But, yet, after a VOLS Victory; it will be because he wasn’t 100%. However, if the tide was to win? All we will hear is, we even beat you with a hurt qb. GO BIG ORANGE !!!

Devilman is who MJG is probably referring to? BVD which is short for BigVolDaddy, is the one who made some videos in the past for the Greene Devil football team. I hope to see some new videos coming from BVD for the post season.

Hampton totally owned the line of scrimmage tonight. Complete domination. All of these other 2a schools in upper East TN should take note of what Hampton does on a consistent basis and that is they run the ball very well. They always have a tough offensive line and some power backs that run through you. I thought you guys looked like a championship caliber team tonight. Congrats.
