Stangs were young this year and overachieved, IMO. They really need to get over the hump, and hope 2023 is that year. The past decade, they have had several opportunities to win the gold ball. Eubanks is just the next in line of great QBs they have had running that offense - Warbritton, Pearson, Ensley - Hope Gray can get it done. Seems like they have always ran into a another "once in a decade or 25 year team" in the quarters or semifinals (Cornersville, Lake County come to mind) I know Swenson is married to that offense, but Eubanks in an RPO system would be incredible. Same with Ensley.

Not my grandson, but I thought Jeff Brothers choked yesterday. NCS had the ball inside the 10 and he gave it to a freshman RB that fumbled in a crucial situation. Brothers had the talent this year, and got outcoached yesterday. It was blatant that FCS was way more prepared, and NCS has come up short 2 years in a row.

Goodpasture coaching search has been a disaster. Another curse of the Ricky Perry administration (which is why he is on the trash heap) - Reminds me of the David Martin situation. Simmons had made 6 state tournaments (3 in Tennessee) and bails for a public school because of the misery involved day to day with this job. And the best player just bailed for Baylor ......

BGA would have to beat (likely FCS) in the semifinals. Before crowning BGA, we need to see Batten get it done in the playoffs.

Watched a game and kept up with the season. Saw some improvement, but with the lack of depth and overall talent it's hard to see what areas of improvement a coach can make there. With proper scheduling, 3-4 wins could be obtainable.

I'm starting to believe it's almost impossible to get that place back to being competitive. It amazes me with the amount of kids in that school that they can't find 40-50 good football players. They have a division 1 RB in the backfield.....and literally no one surrounding him. Harp not being able to get them competitive has really raised some questions.

Rough season thus far. Thought Harp would bring a winning edge, but been a tough road. Staring at 0-10, wonder if he will try to get out of LHS.

DA is much improved, but I think NCS will take this one. DA should put up some points for sure. In my opinion, I think their offense clicks more with Quinn at QB, but they will line him up at TE/WR and at 6'7" can get it up to him in the air. Kid has good hands and can run after catch with long stride. They haven't played anyone to the competition of NCS in my opinion.

The difference is that Skal didn't play much at ECS last year. Galilee probably knows more about it, but he only played about 5 games last year. He should be able to transfer until his last date of participation, regardless of bonafide change of address. Jarnell transferred just to play with better players.

Sonny Gray and the Rod Wilks show was awesome to watch for my generation. Also, Charlie High and the air show at CAK was another that stood out.

Looks like this hot topic is back. Thoughts with Coach Long and his health issues, but LHS back to square 1 again in baseball. I've heard Principal Brown has reached out to a couple of candidates and hopes to land a Wilson Co. guy this time around. From what I gather in the school, Purvis might really be in play this time around with the situation at MJ being up in the air.
