BKisler is correct, MJ freshman have not lost more than 3-4 games in the past 5-6 years and the JV team never loses. That tells you all you need to know. They will however go 7-3 this year due to being in a really weak district.

Very disappointed in the result. Puzzling play calling in the 2nd half. I think we threw to Ian 2 times in the 2nd half. We should be throwing at least 20 passes a game. We let one get away last night that should not have happened.

Huh! Gallatin dominated the game for 3 quarters. MJ caught up late with a lot of passes. Mason did have over 250 yards for Gallatin. MJ plays in a weak district (3 teams with winning records and one of them is Lebanon). MJ should win their next 4 by showing up. That will make them 5-3 and everyone will proclaim they are back with Franklin and McGavock left to play.

Bucs will be fine. Crabtree understands the big picture and knows after last night the record is 0-0. I expect them to take care of Wilson Central game one and really believe they will go 10-0. Only game I am worried about is Hillsboro. We are at least 2 TD's better than Hendersonville and Gallatin and will have no trouble with the rest.

Cavs better be ready, Wave are a lot better than you think. Based on what I am hearing I believe the Wave come out ahead. The new DC is making a major difference.

Private schools have it made now. 3 reps and Childress representing them. You can tell on any subject he always favors the privates. On the split he pushed the 5 guys hard to vote against and got what he wanted. He always mentions all the public schools that caught recruiting. Reason is that he always covers for the privates on every thing. In his perfect world all teams would be together. I am glad the Bucs don't play or scrimmage any of them.

MT Juliet has won 4 straight and just knocked out Whitehaven in the final 8. Looks like they play Hazel Green AL in the losers bracket final. Hillsboro faces Civic in the winners bracket final.

Define "winner". Bucs have been to the state tournament and have been to the sub state several times. Gallatin won the state and has been to the state tournament several times, Hendersonville has been to the state tournament and the sub state several times, Wilson Central has been to both several times. Someone will have to help out on Mt Juliet, Lebanon, and Portland. Station Camp has been to a grand total of zero state tournaments and 1 substate. The comment about doing things the right way is comical. Team is very talented, yes. Good kids, yes. Everyone on Shackle Island knows the story about the recent "transfer".
