I agree SS and while I understand some of y’all don’t want to mention names, I just wanna see who everyone has a like and dislike for lol. I didn’t mention names when Central was doing interviews either so I feel ya.

I don’t know anything ab candidates for this job, I just wanted to get some names and ideas thrown around just to see what people think. These boards are for healthy discussion!

Maryville Guy so that fits. Coached at Powell and led them to a 12-2 record. Would be a great fit IMO. Again this is just my guess

So from my observation, we have Barney who is a Maryville fan(and apparent closet OR fan haha) who likes the name he’s heard. SS also likes the name and said he’s “coached in the Knoxville area” before. So I honestly have no knowledge here but I’ll make a prediction based off these comments, if nothing else just to get some conversion going. It sounds like the front runner is Derek Rang to me!

Glad West got the W, they were the best team all year. Knew Powell would put up a fight. It’ll be interesting to see how both teams look next year, especially Powell now that all of their prized…..”players” are gone.

Great run for Boone, but West big in this one.

Congrats to Boone on a great year for them, but with or without the QB they are in trouble vs West. West is heads and shoulders better than anyone around here in 5a except Powell, but I still think west is better. Unless they had injuries last night, I gotta take West big. Congratulations to Boone tho.

This guy came to LC from Georgia but coached with Darlington at Apopka HS. so he's brought that Single Wing with him and from what i've heard/seen it's working well for LC. They probably never will, but if they ever get a few athletes, better watch out.
