York vs Oneida is ALWAYS a slugfest.....

York returns the bulk of their team on both sides of the ball as well as moving down in classification. Alot of new faces on the coaching staff this year PLUS an entire spring and fall camp to get more prepared for Coach Johnson's style makes this year's team even more dangerous. The injury bug really hurt the Dragons early last year (starting QB, WR, and RB all missed the last 6-7 games) but they gained invaluable experience for Region 43A QB of the Year Freshman Myles Leffew (brother of uber talented former YAI QB Landrick Leffew). The younger Leffew lead his team to a 3-2 region record with only a 1pt loss at Upperman (4th and goal inside 2mins left came up 1ft short) and a 7-0 loss AT Smith Co (int return for TD late in 4th qtr). The Dragons got progressively better under 1st year Coach Johnson, especially considering the COVID issues of being at a state ran school. 2021 could be a breakout year for the always physical Dragons.

York has an EXTREMELY TOuGH schedule but the talk on the mountain is this could be the best chance to make a deep playoff run they've had.... possibly ever?

How will they sort out a 3 way tie?

York was literally two plays from winning 4AAA last year with a brand new coach... if they can stay healthy they could be a legit contender in 2A...

Not a shocking win at all if you've watched the York girls play..... they're pretty good...

York will be much improved. 2nd year under new head coach. 7 returners on offense and 8 on defense. We shall see how realignment helps them. No easy task at all with Oneida, Monterey, and Rockwood in their region....

York down to their 5th string qb due to injury....can they contain Loudon's two key players?

Does York stand a chance? Will Livingston rout them like they did last year? With reclassification will this be the last time they play?

It's not dirty, It's COVID rules.... Trust me... nothing more that York would want than a full house... And why in the world would York give up a home game just to placate the visiting school?? They've already lost one home game this year due to field conditions.

With social distancing still in effect and only one bleacher, it seems so...

York gave upperman a heckuva game at the Hive.... 1 foot away from taking the lead late in the 4th quarter after leading for 3 quarters..... could've went either way.... Maybe York has something to build off of?

Could be the deciding game on who makes the playoffs. York Sequatchie and Smith will all be vying for 1 spot this year. Hope York comes to play and finally starts to get serious about playing football. Dumb penalties and trying to fight instead of play has been costly for the Dragons so far!
