Okay Mr. Know it all, let’s put some money on how many current seniors on the Patriots sign SEC scholarships this year. Blackman has more talent than OHS, I would say even Creasy would agree.

Blackman is a poorly coached team. They have much more talent than Oakland.

Although I am a Rutherford County high school football fan, I would have to agree with you on this one.

Blackman has more talented players overall than Oakland. As long as the head coach doesn’t spit out the bit , they have no reason to worry.

Oakland has become very susceptible on defense, and Blackman appears to corrected some major problems they were having on offense. If i can remember correctly, it has been since 2014 during the regular season since Blackman has beaten Oakland. I think this will end on 11/22/19. There are a lot of ifs, but Blackman is a more physically talented team hands down. Now, we that said, Creasy’s is far superior head coach. I just see Blackman controlling the game, and Oakland having to play catch up. All in all Blackman by 14 points. This would be the second time in school history that Blackman made the semi-finals.

People are crazy if they think Blackman will beat Oakland 38-7, however, I can see them beating Oakland by 14. I am predicting Blackman 35 and Oakland 21. Thw Blaze appear to have righted the ship from a very disappointing regular season. Blaze fans you may want to make plans to visit Maryville on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I hope I am wrong, but your season will probably end at that time.

I have thought all year that Blackman was the most talented team in Rutherford County, however, they have been out coached by teams. After seeing them the past few weeks, I think adjustments have been made. I am picking Blackman by 14 points in this matchup.

Okay, just to be transparent, I pull for Rutherford County teams. MJ, how many football state championships have the Bears won? Riverdale has three in their trophy case.

Just my two cents, but I see this game being very competitive. Now, with that said, it would be an upset if Mt Juliet wins, but it could very well happen.

Hendersonville will beat Cookeville by 17.

I am hearing that Gary Rankin is coming back to Murfreesboro to take over the Rockvale program. I was told that he already has a contract on a home in the Rockvale area. This would make things quite interesting.

Alcoa has only beaten Maryville how many times since Rankin has been there? Can you say “who is your daddy?”

Perhaps you need to adhere to your own words MidTennFootball. Great win by the Patriots, and just like death and taxes, Maryvillle will be back in the thick of things next year. They are very young, and will be the team to beat in 2019.

Here it is in a nutshell. If you are going to beat Maryville, you better pack your lunch......or perhaps lunch and suppper. Oakland has a stout defense, but I am not sure that their offense can keep up with Maryville,. Maryville will pack to box and dare Oakland to throw the ball. I see the score being decided by 10 points. Would have been more, but Hodge is out. I hope I am wrong, because I am pulling for Oakland. Had the opportunity to meet Kevin Creasy at a coaching clinic in Georgia, and he appeared to be a fine young man.

Ravenwood has improved throughout the year. Going to be a good game against Whitehaven.

Not trying to fire any team up. I would love to see Oakland beat Maryville, and they may or may not do just that. I do believe that Maryville is the better team, but the best team doesn’t always win. Either way, should be a great game.

Just heard about Tee Hodge. Sorry to hear about this, he is a great player. With that said, I am lowering the number of points that Maryville wins by to 10 points instead of two touchdowns.
