Congratulations to Elizabethton. Great Game plan and they won the battle up front on both sides of the ball. When I seen in pregame cam lister wasn't playing and mason laws was limping really bad my heart sunk because I knew we had to be healthy especially up front to beat a team as good as Elizabethton. Up front and of course the QB position is where this Greeneville team was lacking compared to 2017 and 2018. There is a lot I would like to say about the Greeneville situation but this is not the time or thread to because I don't want to take anything away from Elizabethton and their win. They out played Greeneville tonight and deserve the win they got. We were extremely out Coached. And Greeneville's season was lost before they played the first Game. There is no place in football for politics. But once again I want to congratulate the Cyclone's and wish them luck rest of the way . Keep it in region 1 guy's

Good win for the Devil's but they have a lot to improve on to get ready for next week. Hopefully Mason laws will be able to play next week. Didn't look as good in defense without him. But I have got to say also congrats to Fulton on showing up and fighting hard tonight. They have some really good player's just not enough depth. South Doyle is the 4 seed because region 2 ended in a 3 way tie for 2nd, 3rd and 4th. They all 3 beat each other so you go to best overall record. Fulton is 7-3 while Carter and SD are 6-4 there four Fulton got the 2 seed so then you decide between Carter and SD . Carter beat them head to head. Therefore Carter is 3rd which puts SD at 4. That's how it happened that they are the 4

I still think that this could be a competitive game. Oak ridge is not playing like oak ridge . But they still have athlete's and tradition. All the talk about how easy this is going to be for Greeneville is as Saban would say Rat Poison for the Devil's. I hope The Devil's play great and take care of business. But oak ridge deserves or respect and hopefully we are Ready to Play. I worry about a little flat spot coming up for the devil's after this game nothing much left in the season before the playoffs. The Devil's have got to be fired up and ready to play Friday night this is our toughest game until at least round 2 of the playoffs. Coaches need to keep the team excited, prepared and ready to play each week. Knowing this staff I think they will.

I know oak ridge has had a ruff time. But they have the respect of the Greeneville Fans. We are expecting a Battle Friday night

Great Game for the Devil's. With no injuries. On to oak Ridge next week. I must say that I was very impressed with the facilities at Seymour. They might very well have the best stadium in the conference. Top notch and a lot of nice people also

The part I don't understand is how they refused him at halftime. If you don't want to play you get on the bus and go home how could they have stopped them from forfeiting that's impossible you can't make someone play if they don't want to

Hopefully this will give anyone battling any kind of injury time to heal up. Like our big defensive tackle that played hurt Friday night. I just want to get the win get the young kids some action since they didn't get to play Friday. And get out of Seymour with a win. Got to get ready for oak Ridge the next week. I think DB Win's. It would be easier if the starting QB Play's though. The starting QB at Jeff county is a sophomore he played at Greeneville his Freshman Year. Very strong arm good runner. But he did throw the ball where it shouldn't have been thrown some when he was at Greeneville. Don't know what Jefferson county has around Him. And not sure about the level of their competition up until now

The cover two bothered Greeneville hadn't seen much zone. And the QB throwed the receivers in to the safety's where they were Just standing there waiting to deliver a Big Hit. 71 for Greeneville not being healthy hurt Greeneville run defense up the middle. DB Had a Very good game plan with their defense and their slow it down take the entire play clock before snapping the Ball. It was a plan to keep them close for as long as they could stay close. But at the end of the Day Greeneville pulled away because they have to much speed and ATHLETES. DB is not far off Greeneville up front it's pretty close. DB ran the Ball well up the middle but they couldn't block the Greeneville Defensive ends in the passing Game. I give a lot of credit to DB for playing hard and having a good plan. They are a little better than I thought they were before the Game. Good luck to them the rest of the Way. Glad GHS has some stuff to watch on film. They will have to figure out that zone before the playoffs

Greeneville had one athlete LoL that's not what the college's think. Talking about overtime LoL in a Game they were 1 touchdown away from the mercy rule.

Good game for the Devil's glad they got to play 4 quarter's. DB played good up front on the oline. In run blocking not so much in pass blocking They played the slow down game that I thought they would running the play clock under 5 each snap. And with Greeneville scoring quickly time of possession ended up being close to 3 quarter's to One. Holding penalty killed a first half drive for the devil's. Along with a fumble. All in all not the Devil's best performance. But the winner of the Game was never in doubt. I do give DB a lot of credit for having a game plan staying with it and playing very hard they had their kid's fired up and ready to Play. For the Devil's they need to get healthy best d- lineman was only able to play about half the snap's tonight. I expect they will rest him next week at least I hope so. Got to stay healthy to pull this thing off this Year.GO DEVIL'S

Maryville wins easily. Greeneville could have a tuff game only if they help DB some. With turnovers and penalties. My advice to DB is 3 yard's and a cloud of dust. To try and play ball control against Greeneville. And on defense they better get some pressure because if the QB has time to throw Greeneville wr's vs DB secondary is a mis match. Just like it has been every game Greeneville has played so Far

Why did Oakland just not go victory formation first and goal from the Two. Lipscomb was out of timeouts. They would have never got the ball back the touchdown and pat kept it a one position game and gave Lipscomb the ball with a minute and a half left crazy decision

You are counting mo west and central's losses to Greeneville in their record. And if they had won we wouldn't be looking at Greeneville the same way. And DB and oak ridge or both good game's. You want to look at record only. And not who the team's have played. Oak Ridge is a very dangerous team. They are the toughest team left on our schedule in my opinion. GHS will be able to name the score against Seymour volunteer beat them by two touchdowns

And I love the kids on this year's team I have coached about half of them in youth sports. But as far as comparing them to the other state championship team's that Greeneville has had. There is no comparison at least not Yet. They haven't won anything Yet. You have to win to be able to be compared to those team's
