If you go back through social media of some of the previous coaches, there was major shade being tossed between members of both staffs. Catholic dished out the cash to set it up. All D2-AAA teams make the playoffs this year. This game is about $$$, I've heard Catholic paid an obscene amount of money to get this game. Also, the fact there are 3 teams in D2-AAA with zero wins that will get a playoff game is absolute insanity. The TSSAA and the BOC need to rethink what they are doing and why they exist.

You are at the mercy of each Schools coaching staff, they carry the only official stats attached to each game. It's up to them to report those numbers to the local media and Im not sure the TSSAA requires them to report game stats. The unnamed and unofficial websites usually have a fan report scoring and stats.

This is going to be very problematic for a lot of teams that have games scheduled in Kentucky. I wonder if the TSSAA will step in and shut those games down. It is ultimately their responsibilty to look out for the well being of the players, even though that's hard to believe sometimes.

If the TSSAA reduced to 5 public classifications geography would not be an issue. You would have an 7-8 team region versus the current 5 team region.

If the TSSAA reduced to 5 public classifications you would not have to look far for tougher competition.

A perfect example of how absolutely disfuntional the TSSAA and its classificatiion system are. You probably have too many classes if a team has to play 3 out of State opponents to complete a 10 game schedule. SMDH.....

I've seen a lot of teams with incomplete schedules for '21/'22 season. Has anyone seen an Alcoa schedule? I would to see if they are going to add a Powell or Catholic to the mix. I'm hoping for some really exciting and competitive games next season.

20 miles only applies to Private schools since they have no zone boundries. So public to private and private to public are held to the 20 mile rule. Public to public only requires a zone change either through a permanent address change or a change of guardianship.
