I would expect them to continue on as scheduled, but with no fans besides immediate family/Media. All the teams on the girls side are already in town and in hotels. Seems logical to me, but who knows.

Brutal draw for Upperman and Jackson, that really could’ve been the state championship game. Should be an unbelievable matchup

My personal feeling is we are all just on board for the ride til Macon and Upperman meet for the gold ball.

Likely will be #8 at QB. Played RB last year to just get off the field. Has a cannon of an arm and is really fast. I think he’ll turn some heads. He’ll get thrown into the fire week 1 against Cookeville. We will know a lot about Upperman after that game. Gonna have to replace a couple of LBs.

Sounds to me like some of the Alcoa folk are a little bit too concerned with what UHS is doing. Could it be the Bees gave the Tornadoes more of a fight than any other 3A team last year and have a better defense this year? Someone sounds a little bit concerned, if you ask me.

Don’t sleep on Livingston Academy. They’ve steamrolled through the majority of their schedule. Lots of seniors, and an incredibly explosive offense.

Upperman by 30+. Sequatchie doesn’t have the firepower to keep up this year.

I knew you would respond, lol. I’d be interested to hear where you think Gordonsville is better than Monterey on the field? On paper, it looks like Monterey has the advantage nearly everywhere.

No disrespect to Gordonsville, but Monterey is going to win this one easily. They are just the better, more experienced team at this point. Gordy has been brutalized by injuries, so they are definitely better than their record, but Monterey is probably one of the top 5 1A teams in the state right now. Wildcats by 17+.

I went back and watched it, he clearly wasn’t hurt, but he also didn’t look over to the sideline first. I think he did it on his own (you’re right, every team does it). Later in the drive a Bee got injured and the HC had him come off the field immediately.

Oh knock it off. Watertown had 7 penalties, Upperman had 3, that’s not a big gap. You conveniently left out the fact that H20 blatantly knocked the ball out of the center’s hands on the kneel down turned fumble, which is a penalty. The penalty numbers wouldn’t have been different at all if H20 could’ve blocked Upperman’s defensive front without holding. Both teams are great, but Upperman was the better team all night.

Back to the game lol. This is a real interesting matchup, on paper it looks like it should be really close, but I'm not convinced. H20 only beating Gordy by 6 and Dekalb by 22 could be warning signs in this one. The UHS defense is incredibly good, arguably the second best 3A defense in the state. I think UHS wins this one by about 10.
