Yea we play all of region games with Middle TN opponents and the sub state game is a Middle opponent as well.

We match up with the region that has Summertown and Loretto. It is not easy as we were upset last year in the first round by Collinwood. Our district and region will be at Bethel.

It truly was a awful game to watch. If we get it together and cut down our turnovers we will be tough to beat. Give all the credit to the Fillies on a well played game, they caused lots of problems for us. It will come down to us 2 and Clarksburg. Clarksburg has improved dramatically since the season started, and could catch us on a off night.

McKenzie should be a in the conversation for the top team in West Tennessee single A. Very convincing win over Huntingdon tonight. Only two losses to West Carroll in OT and to Lexington by 6. This team should get to the state tournament.

Well we are playing our worst ball of the year right now, so I wouldn't call the McKenzie win a good one. McKenzie is so out of shape and turnovers have killed us. Should have beat Huntingdon tonight but we will get em next time.

I was surprised at that score honestly, just based on the fact on how TCA has played this season. Peabody has the athletes to compete with anybody, and with a great coach that can go a long ways. I do see a possibility in the lady tide pulling off the upset against the pioneers; that's if they stay out of foul trouble, and score with the lady pioneers . Peabody's aggressive and in your face defense is one of the toughest to play against.

Saw a good game tonight between Dresden and Greenfield. Both teams had a couple of players foul out at the end which made things interesting. Mikayla Peterson played well for Dresden as she hit 10 or 11 free throws and only missed like 2 or 3. This was the first time I saw Gleason this year and they looked really good to me. I noticed that the Alexis Anderson is back for the lady bulldogs after being out with an acl injury. When she gets back to 100 percent and Kennedy Atkins is knocking down shots, this team is a tough out come postseason time.

Alright here's my opioion. 11A: McKenzie, Huntingdon and Clarksburg will battle for the district title. A lot of people are hyping the fillies up to contend to go to the state tournament but that's just not the case. I have seen them 3 times against Obion County, Riverside and Henry County. They turn it over like a upward basketball team and when you press them, they are in big trouble. Alli Jones must step up her game if the Fillies want to win the title. Clarksburg is playing the best ball right now with two quality wins over Bradford and Bolivar. Most of the girls that play basketball for the Rockets run cross country so they are very quick and conditioned. If they keep playing at the level they are right now, this team will be a tough out come tournament time. McKenzie is playing its worst ball of the season currently. They are out of shape and aren't playing with any heart. They started off the season hot and have just fell apart. They are a great team but they must stay conditioned and continue to work together as a team. West Carroll is improved from last year and if they catch a team on a bad night, it could shake up district standings.

Sorry dude. Been very busy lately. We played like trash and lost 59 to 37.

Hailey Hardaway for Bolivar is a player that needs more recognition. Even though Bolivar isn't very good this player is scoring 20 to 40 points for them.

Got a good game tonight as Dresden travels to McKenzie. Lady Rebels will get back Lilly Bennett (our best player) after she has healed up from her skiing accident. McKenzie has struggled playing on a consistent level since Christmas break. I know that Dresden was playing 7 to 8 players at one point, really hope that that they are a healthy squad now. McKenzie needs this game against a better opponent before district play begins.

Sad to see TCA leave region 7. We had some great battles over the years. We have much respect for their program and their school. Best of luck in your new adventure !!

Greenfield returns most of their players on both sides of the ball. Not saying they get to Cookeville but should go a round or two deeper this year.

Haywood has shocked people the past two rounds and they may shock us again tomorrow?

Gibson County is one of the better defensive squads I have seen this year. I think the turnovers will improve as they continue to play together. Peabody has surprised me so far as they beat McKenzie by 3 and only lost to Greenfield by 4. Dresden has disappointed me so far the way they have played this year, but maybe they can turn it around. So at this point in the year Gibson County is the team to beat in the west.

There are a couple of schools in our area that offer that. For example, kids that go to Madison Academic in Jackson can football at Northside or Liberty. Also students that attend Big Sandy can go to Camden to play football.

As a West Tennesseean I would like to see all 6 win it. I have a hard time seeing Haywood winning 4a. Greenville is legit, and if Haywood wins I will eat my crow. I predict Peabody, Henry County, Whitehaven and MUS win their games.

I saw a great Henry county- Beech game tonight. When Beech had the ball in the red zone, HC made the play like a championship team. So proud to see 4 West Tennessee teams make to Cookeville. I am picking the Patriots to win their 3rd state title. Roll Red Roll!!

Oh gosh Madison played like trash against during the first game of the season. But they put 101 on the board against Chester County. You can tell that it is early in the season for them. I think Peabody gets over Humboldt this year. Without 5 to 7 players they still looked like a postseason team when we played them yesterday. I like to see this Peabody team play. I think that they will make some noise in the postseason.

Too bad that this is the only time that we play yall this year.

Oh gosh. Peabody stole the ball with about 3 seconds left and hit a 3 but it was waved off because it was shot after the buzzer. It was a great game, our boys went on a run in the third quarter to tie it at the end of 3. You have some great young players on your team. I loved watching the Harris kid, boi he is a great player.
