Tough loss but you made it another round further than last year. I am not sure about grove but you are getting a gritty over achieving group from Inman. That group beat some good teams in the playoffs.

He maybe referring to a coach employed at Trenton... Marley, Vowell or Driggers have been head coaches. Marley would open the offense up, but how long would he coach? I would not think they would hire Vowell or Driggers. On a side note I hope the "powers that be" are not swayed by the fans desire for anything and instead make the best hire. Even a school as good as Milan can experience a bad run if the wrong coach is hired. Look at Union City and Henry County as an example. Go after a coach who has built/mantained a successful program and steal them away. In no particular order (other than alphabetical) , Bowling, Comer, Counce, Gray, Hookfin, Jacobs, Swenson or Ward.

First of all hats off to Morris, one of the great ones in West TN. I have heard for several years some of the folks in Milan want Ward from Crockett. I do NOT see them hiring from the current staff but I have no inside knowledge to base this assumption on. This job will draw a huge amount of interest. The coaching carousel has the potential to really start to spin in West TN!

I may be completely wrong but I do not believe Union City is the best team in 2A. I think Waverly will beat Peabody in the Semifinals. I would not be surprised if Adamsville or McKenzie sneak up on Union City. No idea about East tn teams though.

Not really. Beating Beech the second go around will be a big time win. I believe Henry County is two to three scores better than Germantown. This game is nothing more than momentum and bragging rights. 5A is weak this year. Beech and Henry County will play in the Semi's to see who goes to the Big Game.
