The split will never happen. There is way too much money and power in private schools. What people don't realize is that if you separate the two it will become the wild west of recruiting. There will not be near as many good players left in public schools. They will all be recruited out. All these private schools that are church funded can now open up even more funds to help with the recruiting and facilities process. There advantages of both. Public schools can pay their coaches better and get city and county funds to help with facilities and the program. Private schools can generate funds quicker and have a bigger area to draw from because of not having an assigned school zone. Same can be said about open zone schools. Its not fair, but if you separate the two it opens up a lot worse case scenarios than if it is left alone.

Why is Reel's name being brought up for Warren County? Are they going after him?

If they keep trying to push the private schools out, I see no reason why they can't have their own accredited association. Other states don't use the multiplier anymore because its outdated and no longer serves a purpose. If you are a private school that can't offer financial aid to athletes, there isn't much of an advantage over public schools. Private school salaries are substantially lower than public school. I have seen public schools with amazing facilities. Sequatchie County comes to mind off the bat. Amazing stadium and facilities. Private schools will travel well provide good competition and good gate. If they separate I see no problem with them forming their own association which would cost TSSAA lots of money, which we've already seen that is there only interest. I bet a certain TSSAA representative of our area will push this through because he only has one agenda and its not for the schools he represents, just the one he is working at

Recruiting is a funny word coming from WB. So if there are good players in Morgan Co. they all just go wherever no questions asked?? Yeah right. Its a battle between Sunbright, Coalfield, Wartburg to see who gets the best kids.

What did the coaches do so wrong on Friday, and administration?

It amazes me how you can say up and down that you support a team and yet you bash and bash. Polk County is a good team. Not 38 points better than Bledsoe but good. I probably suspect that a lot of kids hear when they get home is "them coaches don't know what they are talking about" and who are you likely to listen to; coach that you been playing for 4 years max or the people who brought you into the world? And if you come back with something like well coaches should install discipline I agree but it starts at home. And anyone has yet to tell me ONE thing that makes ANY of the coaches unqualified for where they are?

Amen.......knowing the coaches very closely it is sad to hear the stuff put on here. If there was no pride then why are they coaching. You should never question anyone's pride or work ethic or do bashing when clearly it seems like some have no idea the situation is. If they are so unqualified could you please tell me why BCHSWAR and others that keep on and keep on and keep on and the players read this post and what do you think they think? Not all people on here are like yall and calling for peoples heads BEFORE THE FIRST GAME.........Coach Roberson and his staff are fine upstanding people and if there is reason they are not.......why don't you provide examples other than just hogwash about something BCHSWAR, and warrior4ever........all i have to say. If this is your opinion you obviously didn't see anything on Friday. Our coaches were doing the same as others and were excited when the kids made big plays.......But in the same sense the players have lots they need to work on. But I'm sure you could fix everything if you became coach or school superintendant. A lot of this stuff is being said and my connections on the school board tell me nothing has been brought forth to them......sounds like you guys just get on here and cry instead of getting behind Big Blue.

In both of these you dog coaches and current staff......your words not mine.......said specifically HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY HELP, and an embarassing shame not just to the coach but entire staff........encouragement starts at home. If they are being told at the breakfast table then its already in their head they don't have a chance. I assume you have sons on the team but it woouldn't surprise me if you are just armchair quarterbacks, but you should get behind them and enforce it with your sons so they can hear it at home and practice. I have been on teams like this and the kids see the quarreling and bitterness and the unbelief in a coaches ability.

You think it might be because the football team had a scrimmage until close to 8? Some of the posters on here need to stand behind a team instead of dogging it into the ground. When you get on here for running down players and coaches it does no good.
