Siegel vs. Ridgeway

Im rooting for Siegel from now on out, and from watching Ridgeway play last night, I think Siegel does have a a good chance. WCHS was in it with all but 2 minutes to go and were even winning at the half but they just couldn't seal the deal. Siegel needs to keep out of foul trouble as best as possible and if they can do that and knock down a couple critical threes I will go on and say the underdogg will win this game. This is not White Station or anything like them, I will tell you that.

its bitter bitter sweet....

If you would have told me in the first game of the year vs. maplewood that we would be in the final four I couldn't he happier. Nobody gave this team a shot and they hung in there with the best of the best. Thank you Jimmy, Keith, Darius, Luke, and especially B Ross. No matter what happens we will never forget this season.

That feeling is probably the flu or the 24 hour stomach virus..you'll get over it. Come back again, next year, and see some more of the dominance displayed by the West Tennessee teams.

great job guys ... few thought youd make it out of the region tournament, more or less defeat Oakland/Lebanon 4 times, achieve regular season champs, district champs, region champs, sub state winner, and a final four appearance ... my hats off to all the players and for the lone senior, B-Ross, your energy and leadership and the way you "ninja" across the court will be missed.

Siegel Nation.

Im from Memphis and I'm a manger for White Station and if Ridgeway plays the way both times they played us tonight.. Siegel should be happy with a 10 point loss.

talk all you wnat and say whatever u want, it aint gonna change the fact that I got 3 rings and yall dont. Lets think about this.. If there was a way that u could get championship rings without running up and down the court wouldn't u do it? Hey and being a "waterboy" got me a scholarship to the college so im cool. Anybody that is on a team knows that how important managers are. Just ask a coach how important managers are to any team and they'll tell ya. But its cool, keep the name callin comin, it only makes me feel that yall will let a "waterboy" get under your skin for talkin about how bad Siegel is gonna get beat tonight. holla

You had a 10 point loss picked for siegel but apparently Siegel didn't....they proved they can hang with any team in the state tonight and if it wasn't for Ridgeway's ungodly shooting then they probably would be in the finals right now. Tell me what should i be thinking about...how "Bad" Siegel will get beat???? Siegel proved tonight they are one of the best in the state

    • I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off.  As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.
    • during the 2nd round of the playoffs last year against Milan, Gray partially tore his meniscus. He had a minor repair around Thanksgiving. Recovery time was minimal and he has been full force for baseball this season.
    • What do ya’ll think the O/U will be? I would set the line at 2.5
    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
