If based on nothing more than the past 3 years success - Qtr, Semi's, Finals; then toss in the record in those three years, 35-7; their ability to reload rather than rebuild; the strong numbers that return each year creating depth and experience....

 

I would add Franklin to the mix in 5A.

In 2A I think Alcoa will win. I heard they didn't lose many players. In 5A I think either Riverdale or Oak Ridge will win.

who do yall think will take it home in 4A this year.. Maryville lost some of the O-fence but they didt lose anybody in the front 7 on d-fence.. Hows Melrose goin to be this comin season

LA doesnt have Colson this year true! but we r stronger as a team than anytime in the past! i wouldnt count Livingston Academy out in 3A........yea no1 gives them a chance against A.E and Fulton.....but lets say they ant meet the smash mouth fball we play around here.........yea ther fast but where strong and Cates will be doin alot of throwen this year so u wait and see...........LA could finish 1-3 in the region and make a serious run in the Playoffs

in 2A its alcoas to lose they only lost 2 or 3 players and only one played alot. They have the most D1 talent in the state and if they had a little more depth could probaly beat every team in the state.

in 4A Melrose should be the favorite with there RB and stellar D. Maryville will challenge in 4A even though they lost 10 starters on Off. the front 7 will be unreal this year.

Riverdale,Oak Ridge,Franklin,Ooltewah,Cookeville will be front runners in 5A

 

Maryville,Melrose,Hillsboro should be the favorites in 4A..but watch out for Red Bank in the next year or so...this team won 4-4a last year with a predominately freshman and sophmore team..expect these guys to throw a monkey wrench in someones hopes and dreams..and knox central looks very good this season

 

Fulton and Austin East own 3A

 

Alcoa should be the favorite in 2A but don't count out defending class A state champs DCA and 2 time runner up and a state champs in single A in the past three years Boyd-Buchanan along with Cak from single A moving up this year

 

Trousdale and Mt Pleasant look pretty good for now...Temple could go along way as well moving into single A.......But as we all know preseason don't mean much...We expect certain teams to be in certain places come playoff time ,but who knows.anything is possible
