Super Regional Schedules

The Super Regional schedules are available for the games in Shelbyville. You can download the schedules by Clicking here or go to the site directly http://www.showtimebball.com/tournaments/super_regional.html.

If you get a chance this weekend, you should definitely head down to Shelbyville for this Super Regional. There are some really strong teams there, especially in the 12u, 13u, and 16u. My favorites in each age division are (in no particular order):

 

10U

 

1. West Tennessee Lady Tigers

2. FCA Lady Eagles

3. Tennessee Lady Trotters

 

11U

 

1. Dayton Lady Hoopstars

2. Memphis Elite

3. West Tennessee Lady Tigers

 

12U

 

1. KGC Lady Pride

2. Tennessee Top Guns

3. Memphis Elite

4. Cutter Construction

 

This is a particularly strong age group. Those should be the top 4 (maybe in a different order), but the Indiana Lady Legit and Tennessee Lady Trotters could give those top 4 all they could handle.

 

13U

 

1. West Tennessee Lady Tigers/Memphis Elite

2. Georgia Panthers

3. Tennessee Team Pride

4. Shelbyville Sport Shop - Nike

 

There are so many great teams in this age group, it was really hard to pick the favorites. Look for the Queen City Crossover, Tennessee Elite, Dayton Lady Hoopstars, and Southern Starz to challenge those other 4 as well.

 

15U

 

1. Tennessee Flight

2. Queen City Crossover

 

16U

 

1. Tennessee Flight

2. Tennessee Elite

3. Tennessee Stars

4. DC Extreme

 

Another pretty strong age group, though no one should come close to beating the Flight. I'm not sure about the Southern Indiana Shooters, but most Indiana teams are realtively strong so they could give some of those others a run for their money.

No 14 year old bracket...any particular reason, or no teams registered?

I believe the 13u division has changed.

I keep reading there are 74 teams registered at the SRT; however, when I count the teams in the brackets it adds up to 55.

 

Maybe its that Twilght Zone Shelbyville math.

They always seem to stretch the truth and numbers until its in their favor.

Will the pool play/brackets be kept up to date on the Shelbyville WEB site?

Sometimes teams will pre-register but backout at the last minute, or say they'll attend and don't show up. So don't be so tough on the Shelbyville group.

Spree your exactly right, we had some teams that backed out at the last minute for different reason. We can not control that but every age group has National Level teams atteding and seems to be the most competitive super regional ever. Ptguard12 you seem to know alot about aau girls basketball. If your around this weekend look me up and we can talk. I coach the Flight 16 under team.

Can you provide any info on the three teams in 16U other than Flight, we know who they are.

It happens in softball too. I have hosted tournaments before and if youtry to help people out and let them pay when they get there they most back out because who shows up. Most teams hear that a GOOD team is coming they go some where esle if they can get in then. And if a tournament is a fundraiser most tournament director let them in. So this happens a lot

It,s also softball season sidetrain, and the girls are having to decide where their heart is this weekend. I was hoping the rain would decide for them, but I heard the Clarksville softball coach persuaded her team to show up hopping to play softball this morning instead of basketball. So the basketball team shows up with only five girls...OUCH!!! Out of thirteen....Those five that didn't back out have heart!!
