Who are the best recievers and Db's in east Tn, the 2005 season?

Revel Coffey (All-State) at Oak Ridge has gotten the glory (and deserves it), but watch for Wildcats JJ Wells (WR/CB) and Danny Parris (WR?/S) to make a little noise before the year is over.

 

Soddy Daisy's recievers are excellent.

if you want to see a kid that can catch anything thrown in his area, go look at ryan kennedy from elizabethton, he is a unbelievable receiver, but doesnt play db

I loved watching Parris hit people ... he is a real head-banger out there.

Having probably the most lethal air attack in east Tennessee at Alcoa, you would have to put speedy receivers Kyrus Lanxter and Brian Sommer on the list.

 

The teams leading receiver, when he splits out at reciever, Brandon Warren, is probably the top one or two players in the state, and catches everything thrown his way.

If you like Parris so much, look up his yards per carry in JV and Varisty. He's a big play guy on offense, just waiting to happen.

chris ricketts and daniel atchley who are both gonna be seniors this coming season from Soddy-daisy are two of the best possesion recievers I have seen in high school in a long time.....They don'y have blazing speed but they are big and strong and can jump with the best of them...Oh yeah and they have great hands as well...the new qb at Soddy is gonna have a field day with defenses this year having those two recievers on his team

As far as I am concerned the entire Oak Ridge secondary could be one of the best in East TN. started 3 juniors and one soph last year

 

Coffey:

 

tied most int's in a season (could have had the record except he let one fall cause it was a fourth down play... he let it drop at his feet )

 

Reed: Second leading tackler solo and asst.

 

Parris: Third leading tackler didnt start till game three or four

 

Bingham : Just a sophmore last year no stats kept but he broke up a ton of passes

What about the Wells kid I heard how he was doing at the end of the year at both reciever and db , dont you think he would be in the starting rotation? What about the other recievers for Oak Ridge, Who else is going to be playing at that position?

Tyner's Kevion Jones and Martez Mitchell are pretty good. Both i heard are invited to the the Nike camp in May. Jones is fast and quick. Mitchell is 6'3" with great hands.

Justice Joslin from Science Hill - potential to be all-state...all-state honorable mention last year for the most part it was due to the fact he played QB for 4 games
