Well, considering he will have his degree from Vanderbilt either after this semster or this summer, and he's already signed a free agent deal with San Diego, it doesn't appear to have been that bad of a decision. Still got a great college degree, and still got to join an NFL roster. I think he's probably really happy with where he is right now.

He's only a junior in athletics. He's a senior academically. He entered the draft with the expectation of being picked up as a free agent, as reported by the Tennessean a few days ago, and there were only 5 fullbacks taken in the whole draft. He's sitting pretty to sign as a special teams player on a team that is on the rise in the NFL.

He can't even play in the AFL they play both sides of the ball. There is no way Tant can play linebacker and he is too small to play d-line.

He deserves some respect for playing college football and getting it done in the classroom. Might be able to be a special teams specialist. No matter if he got his head kicked in every week, he got to play in the SEC, the greatest conference in college football. Heck, I wish him all the luck in the world.

Actually Blue 5 was not off by much. Tant had 500 yds rushing and 5 td's. He WAS an average hs player for Harpeth. And he did play for a terrible college team. He also would be a great strength coach. So, not so unintelligent after all Mr. Red.
