I was just saying that everybody thought that Grundy was gonna win this tournament(including myself) and then the next pick would be Hixson........Thats all I was meaning by that.......

I think it would be an upset simply because Hixson has to be beaten twice. Any team that has not lost in a double elimination tourney should probably be the favorite. With that said, the game tonight should be great. Any idea who will pitch for each team?

Nope. hixson has already beaten MArion in the tournament.

Ok, I looked at your site and noticed that both have one loss. Question I have now is why a possible if game if both have one loss?

The if poss game is today because Marion beat Hixson last night, after loser bracket final in which Marion beat Grundy 3-1.

Yeah really, why would that be such an upset? They have very good talent and a solid coaching staff. There's no sense in them not getting considered as a favorite to win this district.

congrats to marion and hixson on region births......I must admit that Im surprised to see marion make it this far. They must have turned it up a notch on defense from some regular season games. And who is pitching tonight??? Are Jones and Smalley sitting on enough rest, or will they be saved for opening region rounds??

Who is coming out of District 5 to face Hixson/Marion? I am sure Walker Valley, but who won between Meigs/McMinn Cent.?

you would say that, 5 close calls went against Marion, the coach only had conversations with umpires, he never raised his voice during those conversations. Hixson's fans are good ones to talk......
