Round 1:

 

Hopkins over Marist

Umass/Syracuse is a toss up but SU gets the playoff win

Maryland over PSU

Georgetown over Army

Virginia over Albany

Delaware over Navy

Duke over Fairfield

Towson over Cornell

 

Round 2:

 

Hopkins over Cuse

Maryland over Georgetown

UVA over Delaware in OT thriller

Duke over Towson

 

Final Four:

 

Hopkins over UVA

Duke over Maryland

 

Championshp:

 

Duke avenges previous loss and takes down Hopkins

Round 1

#1 JHU vs #16 Marist HOP

#4 Virginia vs #13 Albany UVA

#5 Navy vs #12 Delaware NAVY

#2 Duke vs #15 Fairfield DUKE

#7 Towson vs #10 Cornell CORNELL

 

Round 2

 

Hop v. Cuse = Hopkins (4 years going into the tournament at #1 for the hopkins seniors, you have to see them winning this one at home)

Maryland v. Army = Maryland (Army will pull one upset with Wagner and Walker leading the charge, but only one.)

 

Virginia v. Navy = Navy (I feel the Navy defense and midfield is too strong for the hoos)

Duke v. Cornell = Duke (Those young guys will score against this big red team)

 

Semi-Finals

Hop v. Terps (Hop's d is every bit as good as Maryland's, I give hopkins the edge on offense, win by 3)

Duke v. Navy (I just love the way these two teams attack the goal, but I'll give Duke the edge in this one, duke overcomes the looney brothers by a couple)

 

Final

Duke v. Hop (What I've been waiting for since watching the earlier meeting of these two teams...Harrison's final chance, emergence of huntley, etc v. the ever rising star of danowski and co.) I'll give duke a 11-9 win, just because I like their style

Round 1:

JHU vs. Marist- Jays, not really an issue.

UMass vs. Cuse- I've seen UMass up close, and they looked really good, but 'Cuse just won't go down in the first round. Orange wins this game.

Maryland vs. Penn St.- Maryland. Too many strengths.

Georgetown vs. Army- I actually like GTown in this one.

UVA vs. Albany- The cavaliers take this one.

Navy vs. Delaware- The Blue Hens are just out classed on the defensive end of the field. Navy.

Duke vs. Fairfield- Duke, no problem.

Towson vs. Cornell- The Big Red are having a great season. Cornell.

 

Round 2:

Hop vs. Cuse- Hopkins might feel like they got a terrible draw here, going up against the UMass/Cuse winner, but they're too talented to not pull this one out.

Maryland vs. GTown- Maryland has stars on both sides of the ball (Walters and Alford are both amazing) who will pull this one out.

UVA vs. Navy- Navy will take this one in a very tight game.

Duke vs. Cornell- In a game much closer than most would anticipate, Duke ekes out a 2 or 3 goal victory.

 

Final Four:

Hop vs. Navy- As much as I'd like to see Navy in the Finals again, the repeat of the regular season matchup will have the same outcome. Hopkins wins.

Duke vs. Maryland- Tough call. After the regular season loss, I think this one will swing the other way, with Duke coming out on top.

 

Championship:

Hop vs. Duke- Hopkins. Yeah, its their year, finally. Blue Jay lacrosse tradition soars again.

      I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.

      You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.

      I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
