Evidently, you know nothing in regards of football or how to prepare for it.

Power cleans do not get above your head. That would be the clean and jerk that you are sputtering about. (jerk)

Power cleans are the best ground based, multiple joint movement for football.

The least important would be bench. When would a REAL football player mimick this motion? Oh yeah, when pushing himself off from the ground.

Read my brotha, read!!!! thumb

Bench is used to strengthen the pech muscles for punching by both O-LINE and D-Line.

Incline bench would replicate that motion, not a traditional bench press.

Traditional Bench Press is a non-football movement that is used as a strength measure.  It's a combine lift.

Just make your guys wrestle that will truly simulate action on the field.  Weights don't fight back

Very few football coaches know anything about wrestling and the majority of high school football players are not tough enough to wrestle for a competitive program.  You have to really love being physical if you want to wrestle and be successful.
