Might be interesting to see who everybody sees as the top players in West Tennessee heading into the 2005 season. So give it a shot at each position.

QB:Drew Hayes

RHS.... you seem to forget who the leading rusher was in West Tennessee last year!

Boo Weathers 2,500 yds rushing last year.

Played for the state championship

Defensive MVP in the Title game

MVP West Tennessee Region.

Nuff said, you keep bringing up Guy from Westview. Great running back, but who led the region in rushing and who played tougher comp outside the region?

Just a question.... NOT disrespecting Guy in anyway. thumb

RHS last years TSWA Class A all-State QB and the TNFCA Class A All-State QB was Brandon Springer from Lake Co. I know Hayes has a golden arm but Springer gets it done with his legs leading the Falcon attack 1,422 yards and 19 TD's on the ground was pretty impressive for a So. Look for him to improve on those numbers this year behind an O-Line that returns every starter in fact the entire Falcon Offense returns for the 2005 season.

Springer was the Class A All-State QB, but Hayes was the Class 2A All-State QB. Springer is good, but Hayes is better. And before you say anything, I've seen both before.
