Poundingpurplepeople
I want just one comment from a Ootewah person that is a good thing about someone other than themselves. Central works hard ,they have to .They don;t get things like legendary coaches new equipment ,RECRUITED players,etc.. handed to them on a silver platter .We would be good also if Monroe came to our school which he wanted the job there before Ootewah but we cant afford him which makes me sick considering we're in the same county .Any great coach like monroe and like bradley's new coach has alot of players follow him which makes me mad like bradley isn;t working for there team I've seen how many players followed that coach Seniors from his school. If Bradleys team was all there own players they probally wouldn't score this year .I'm just aggrivated .And as for Brent Hayes ....Anyone who comes back from a career ending injury and playes just as awsome as ever is a great player but then again thats just how we are if we get knocked down we don't sit and whine and make excuses like SOME owls....i mean people. we get up and keep trying and push ourselves. We don;t come home get on coach t and tell everyone BS about why we lost we figure out what to do about a problem and fix it.and thats what we'll do this year because thats what a rebuilding year is for thumb
BCrising
Central had 4 starters on offense out today on the Varsity team, that should help some when they get back. The Central JV dominated the Bradley JV today, at least it looks like the future looks bright for Central. 825714121[/snapback] The Central JV never played the Bradley JV. Those were all Freshmen you played. Coach even played his second string freshmen against your JV. And that was after they had a 1 1/2 hour practice before they came down to the field you were on standing in the shade. . I repeat, those were all freshmen. Monroe came to Ooltewah because we have a better program and returning team than Central. Money had nothing to do with it. They would of payed him the same anywhere he went. Recruiting? hahah seriously. Clark Gaston was not recruited. He wanted to come play for the Owls. No one went out and asked him or recruited him. ALso, why are you dissing the Owls when Bradley is on here talking down to you? Doesn't make any sense but oh well...

A lot of coaches shyed away from Central because of the way they handled the last one they had, and didn't feel like the support would have been behind them. Anyone coming in knew they would have to rebuild and with the school and parents ready to turn on you in the blink of an eye, not worth it. Don't complain about not getting good coaches though, Campbell is a good coach. He is minus I think two coaches from last year's staff, and he is going through growing pains. His first head coaching job with a rebuilding team. Give the guy a chance and don't whine cause you didn't get a different coach. No matter who you got this year including if Jones stayed, this would have still been a down year for Central. As long as they compete this year and stick around with a chance to win some games, this will be a successful rebuilding year.

Some of your JV were Juniors according to your coach. I'm really impressed. Some of those kids have never played football in their life. 300lb linemen with tatoos against 160lb freshmen. You should have scored evey play if your future looks as bright as everyone thinks. Go back and read now. I did not say our second string played JV. I said our coach put 2nd string in against your JV. That was when you started scoring.

Oh, yeah, the Central played you got this year, keep him.

Central Purple
Central played a good game at Finley, 3 interceptions and a blocked punt for a t.d. are hard to overcome. The j.v. beat baylor on monday, there is hope for the future.
