Boyd Buc @ Fulton

Well Boyds schedule doesn't get much easier this week as they travel to Knoxville to take on Fulton. Even thought Fulton is 0-3 right now, they are probably the most dangerous 0-3 team in the state. Coming off a rough loss last week to Baylor, Boyd is gonna have to play a very good game, and limit there mistakes to stay in this one as well. Fulton got there butts kicked last week as well by a good Alcoa team, so both of these teams are lookin for redemption from last week. Should be a good game and i wish i could make it to it. Good luck to Both teams. Ill make my prediction later in the week. How do you think the game will come out?

...Well, I understand how they might be feeling( just thinking about how I felt on Saturday morning)...they(fans, parents, etc) really shouldn't be too hard on the team or the kids or the coach...this happens when expectations don't turn into reality...it's still early, but in a couple more weeks it'll be crunch time...

...By the way, I hope Boyd will give them a good game...anything can happen when 16, 17 & 18 year olds take the field...this game will be intriguing because both teams are entering the game in similar(not record wise) situations!!!

    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
