The THS running game is for real. Great to hear Bell is back. Hope he's able to go on that ankle. Shaw is a load.

Last years QB was a wing-t hand off expert. This year the Vikings have a real QB that actually throws the foward pass. Noticed in the paper he is leading pass % in the Conference. (After the Unicoi County game that might have put him 2nd.) The guys got the tools but needs to put his game face on before the game's start not after the 1st or 2nd series. But he is a talent the Vikes haven't had in some years.

The only reason this years QB looks better is because after the Maryville game last year, the coaching staff got a little smarter and decided not to run the ball every play of the game.

Hey WaCo, You must have taken care of our "friend", tu tu, in the Parking lot @ Jeff Co... not heard a word from him in a full week. Maybe Coach cut him from the team.

Skunk, it was great that Jo Jo Throp is ok and full tilt. He is a real plus for the Indians when he is on the field.

It looks like the weather is going to be great for the game, a huge crowd will be at J. Fred Johnson Stadium.

Science Hill got them by the big play. I don't remember Science Hill putting together any drives. But of course with the big play you don't need to.

Yeah it was hard for them to keep up with Justice Joslin after De'Shaud got injured.

Justice was responsible for 4 of their touchdowns. They weren't able to do much running the ball.

The Vikings played them fairly close for most of the game. Bell was out, Shaw saw limited playing time and Shaud got injured in the second quarter.

The DB Family is saddened by the Death of once Head Coach Ed Shockey, 1944-1947. I just mentioned Coach Shockey in a post on the missing DB vs TN High game, the 1943 season, last evening. I was blown away to see the Kpt Times News story today telling of his passing a re-visiting his Coaching Career @ DB. Coach Shockey was one of the Greatest Coaches in DB History, and was this close to being the Tennessee High Vikings Head Coach in 1943.

Less than 24 hrs before the Indians and the Vikings get it on for the 75th Game in the Series.

The Honky Tonk Man says ...to be the man you have to beat the man....

Got a little quote...wanna hear it ? Here it goes...

"D-B is a program we try to be like," Stubbs said. "If you look at D-B over the years, they’re 9-1, 10-0, going to the playoffs. We’ve kind of tried to be like the Indians with our program. We’ve tried to be around, in the playoffs in third week. They are probably the pinnacle program of this area."

The local yocal also say's

DB 38

Vikes 14

You may say this is bulletin board stuff, but da Honky Tonk Man says Stubbs got it right , " They are probably the pinnacle program of this area" The Tribe Rolls.

DB @ HOME for Homecoming with Graham Clark on the Sidelines. That is a lot for the Vikings to overcome.

If the Hilltoppers can score 35 on the Vikings Defense, then look for Bo Burton to have a breakout game @ QB. Let's hope for more under center I-formation from the Indians instead of shotgun.

The DB Defense is very good and keep getting better.

DB Indians 31

Tn High 7
