Oh I always loved playing OR. Great atmosphere and wonderful hospitality there.

OAKLAND football has been challenged this week. Challenged to look past the drama, the media, the attacks on our character, and keep the FOCUS on TEAM. You have stepped up, rallied, and accepted that challenge with flying colors. Practices were productive, enthusiastic, physical, and passionate. Time to show the WORLD what you are made of.......hard-nosed football players with one purpose and that is to WINNNNNNNN! Time to show the world that this TEAM will NOT be destroyed and is operating as ONE UNIT= a TEAM solidified. Time to show that we may have begun this journey as BOYS but we have become MEN thru our battles. MEN rise up to challenges. Men stand up and FIGHT . Men show NO FEAR. Men stay FOCUSED. Men handle PAIN. And MEN DON'T QUIT.

 

FOUR quarters of smashmouth football= a HUGE win which in turn = PRIDE.

I reckon it's time I tried one of those famous hot dogs.

 

Okay Falcons....I'm not sure what you're going to run into tonight...the kind of drama that the Patriots have been experiencing could pump them up or bring them down....I posted earlier that I hope they play their best game tonight, and I still do...of course, I hope y'all play your best game also - if you do you'll beat them.

 

What y'all need to do is play the kind of defense you're capable of...don't stop 'til the whistle blows, and play all 4 quarters. The offense needs to stay focussed and hang on to the ball...block your man...runners, don't spend too much time thinking about where you're going to go - that slows you down - get through the line and THEN plan your next move.

 

Let's go Falcons!!!!!!!!!!!!!
