Bledsoe fans claimed that it rained last year in Pikeville several times that week. Funny, no one else got rain.

Now, we've heard about the sprinklers, now we know that Bledsoe didn't think they could win a straight up game last year and I think it was a close game even then right?

That SP team last year was just plain bad.

Tonites forecast: Rain on Bledsoes parade. Its going to rain TD's.

I think this one will be a blow out. Bring your waders!!

I heard this and I heard that? cut out the bull crap..........We'll see tonight who will win..........

Total domination by the Pirates!! Could have been worse if not for a few penalties. Got an interesting stat for you Bledsoebtheboys......the most yards your QB had was at halftime during Homecoming, he managed to walk all the way across the field. Its a good thing that beautiful young lady he was escorting wasn't wearing a Pirate uniform..........good luck the rest of the season. Pirates now 5-0!!

Yeah, CRACK ME UP!!! :thumb: The young lady who won the homecoming was wearing an "ORANGE" dress. Coincidence? Nah.

I do want to say one thing about Bledsoe. If it was me, I would start the 2nd string QB next week. He looked pretty good and wasn't afraid to get hit.

Good luck Bledsoe!

No offence to the other players on South Pittsburg's team, but if you didn't have Antonio South Pitt. would just as bad as they was last year and I know its hard to say one person is the whole team but he pretty much is.........Everytime South Pitt. needed a first down they would throw it to him and of course Bledsoe's defense wasn't helping none by putting somebody on him that only come to his shoulders..........Your coach showed some real "class" by leaving the starters in after the score was 28-0 and it was the start of the 4th quarter and Bledsoe put there JV in mid-way through the 3rd Quarter.........But this game didn't mean nothing, and Bledsoe now needs to focus on Boyd Buchanan...... :thumb:

I didn't see this game, nor have I seen the stats, but I wouldn't say that Antonio IS the whole team. Mitchell and Mathews generally have some solid contributions to the game. I agree that SP don't have as many outstanding players as in the past, but it is still hard to stop the few that they do have.

I think Antonio's stats were 5 rec., 133 yards, and the QB only threw for 175......They had over a 100 yards rushing, but when they needed the big play they would ALWAYS throw it to #6 and if Bledsoe would have put somebody that was actually his height on him. They might have been able to defend him better.....But hey the game's over and its time to move on to Boyd and they have been outscored in the last 2 games 70-0.........So maybe we can add to that total....

Your post about Antonio being the whole South Pittsburg team puts you about as far away from reality as my post put me when I predicted this would be a close game. Even if Bledsoe had completely shut down #6, you would still have had to score some points to win. Nobody is fooled anymore, South Pittsburg is the real deal this year. I see team efforts in their success, not any one man shows. JMO

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
