52-8 was the final...Muffin will be proud that I got a score right too...lol...but from what I was told RBS starts out everygame really well...Like Cornersville, I heard that RBS moved the ball well the first qtr and played good defense...but they started turning the ball over and the game got out of control...I watched RBS play Celina...they started off really well in the first qtr, but started turning the ball over...when I asked about this game I was told same ole same ole...I was being kept updated with this game and I called and it was 15-6...I called again it was 22-8 and RBS was moving the ball and it looked like they were about to score...then I called again and I was told it was getting bad...I will promise this...If RBS can go w/o fumbling I promise RBS will win next week, or it will be a good game...if they turn the ball over like they have been its going to get ugly again next week...

Yea, I was at the Cornersville game and RBS totally dominated the 1st quarter, playing great defense, moving the ball and eating up the clock, then the 2nd quarter hit and 10 turnovers followed, imagine 10 turnovers, who wins a football game with that many turnovers? If RBS could hang on to the football, they would really compete with some teams!

Like I said I promise that they'll win or be in the game next week if they will hold on to the ball...

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
