2 of the best running backs in East TN are Josh Hawkins fron Loudon who last night followed up a 301 yard rushing game with 159 yards against Polk. Trace Mcdermott from McMinn County as well who rushed 22 times last night for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns which puts him at 7 on the year.

Lindsey, Tallent, and Gulmire. I don't think Gulmire gets the respect he deserves from people, he's a very good back. Did anybody else see that run Lindsey had last night where he broke about 5 tackles and scored?

The Smith kid from Knox Catholic IMO is one of the best backs I've seen in a long time. He is also a headhunter on Defense.

what about that kid Carden from Anderson County he has 932 yards in 5 games. I think he should get the credit for the best RB. He is leading rushing as of right now. Thats against one of the toughest districts in the league.

Yeah, Josh Hawkins does good if Loudon's playing weak competition. How about 11 car. for 26 yds. against Alcoa. Dustin Lindsey is the best in the state, IMO. He's had about 340 yds. in the past two games against Loudon and McCallie.

That might be true but don't forget about Dustin and Chris. Chris proved to everyone how good he was when he ran for 3 50++ tds in the same series vs. Hopkinsville . The first 2 got called back. On the third td the refs realized no matter how much they cheated they wouldn't win.

After friday night i would have to say David Gaston is up there, as for the others Gulmire is impressive as is Tallent and Lindsey.

Ok then Maryville probaly has the best trio with Tallent Baker and Singleton but alcoa also can add Love into that mix
