I might have disagreed with you putting Woods up there after the Farragut game, but he really showed some stuff playing OR. I hope he can keep it up into the postseason.

Also, it would be nice to have a TD and Int total to really get a good indication of their performance. It seems Woods has the highest completion pct. and smithson has the most avg. yards per catch.

...Smithson has 25 TD's to 16 INT's

...Wilson has 13 TD's to 12 INT's

...Coleman has 15 TD's to 2 INT's

...Woods has 12 TD's to 7 INT's

...Turner has 8 TD's to 7 INT's

...Craddock has 13 TD's to 4 INT's

...BJ has the best TD to INT ratio with Keelyn at #2 in the city!!!

I would like to defend smithson's td interception- he really should have 12- I know that an interception is an interception but he had one interception that was called after the ball bounced on the ground- he had two other ones that hit his receivers in the hands or one the chest and bounced up and was intercepted- yes he has 15 but i know that those 3 in particular were not his fault at all.

Kevin don't let anyone give you a hard time about your interceptions, because even some of the best QB's have thrown 'em.

Tom Brady (New England Patriots) had 12 int's the year they were the 2001 Champs, 12 int's the year they were the 2003 Champs, and 14 the year they won the 2004 Championship.

Heck, even Brett Favre (Green Bay Packers) has an average of 15 interceptions per year in his career. And Troy Aikman (Dallas Cowboys) averaged 12 int's a year.

Now, I realize neither Kevin nor B.J. (or any other QB in the Chattanooga area for that matter) is a Tom Brady, Brett Favre, or Aikman; but it just goes to show you that even the best make mistakes. And look where they are.

Kevin -- just keep doing what you're doing, play hard and keep your head up -- because you are one of the best (if not the best) QB's in Chattanooga.

By the way, if my calculations are right -- Coleman has a 160.71 QB rating (57.9 completion %) and Smithson has a 156.56 QB rating (54.9 completion %).

Oh -- and don't forget, beat Grace on Friday!!!

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
