SORWaves
This will be one of the best playoff games all year. Midway will come out on top but it will go down to the wire, like most of their other games. Midway's freshman running back didn't start until game 4. He now has 900 yards on the season. He is tough to stop. I can't wait until Friday! Can anybody tell me some specifics about the Cloudland team? Thanks Midway by 10 24-

He will definately be a force for the next three years. This should be a good game , but i have to go with the landers on this one

pujo
To many seniors on this Cloudland team. I don't think they want to give up football right yet. Play 100 percent by 11 people every play. If you lose, hold your head high and be proud you give it all you had. Regardless of what happens, win or lose, all of Roan Mt is proud to have you all playing for them.
bbsesq
Hey all you Clouldland idiots, what ever happened to that Mark Byrd kid. One of you buffoons said he could start for Nebraska. Is he playing at some JuCo or something?
DurangoBlitz72
I saw the Cloudland/Hampton game, and my opinion is after watching that game and playing against Midway through high school( I went to Cak), that if Cloudland can cut out turnovers they will win this one. I played on the '03 team that won on Roan Mountain and we played a game that was near perfect and walked away winning by one point. The one thing I saw that was different from when we played them and the hampton game is when playoffs come around Roan Mountain totally changes. That was the most intimidating crowd I had ever seen, and after last week I saw that hadn't changed. Yes their is no Byrd or Benfield, but they are a well coached team that has a tradition that few teams in the state can match. And for the record, when we beat the number one team in the state they let us celebrate on their field for as long as we wanted. Midway turned the field lights off on us the next game. I think that speaks for the class of those at Cloudland High School and the people of Roan Mountain. Cloudland by 10. Go get em Landers. And as one final thing of all the teams we played in high school, no team earned more respect from us than Cloudland. Thats why we took the trip to see them play Hampton even though my old team is in 2a.

Were proud to have people like you drive from Knoxville. I don,t think any of the people in attendance will forget that night for along time. WHAT A GAME. cucry
Mark Byrd is going to Milligan College and planning on playing baseball and heard he might run track but no football. Got the shaft at Tusculum on the football deal. Still a strong athlete.

Ro8432
Midway 22 Cloudland 0. Shut out two years in a row in the playoffs. Their place wasn't intimidating last year unless you mean fear of rolling an ankle in their cow pasture.
fightingirish
Midway won't be able to stand the Cold, night time lows in the lower 40's to upper 30's I would say Cloudland 22 Midway
