If you know DB, there are no hometown refs, most don't care too much for DB

 

That's a lament from every city in the state regarding their hometown refs. The truth is somewhere in between. You don't want to be seen favoring the home team, so you might call a close one for the visitors just to show you're not biased. But Sunday you gotta go church with player's parents and explain why you called Johnny for holding.

 

I'll bet on not wanting to explain catching Johnny for cheating.

I believe that the TSSAA brings in officials for the playoff. can anybody shed some light on this?

The officials for this game are from Oak Ridge...so no hometown nothin' on this one...can't have officials from either conference represented in the playoff game.

You say that but Oak Ridge is in our Region they can either hurt us knowing that the Owls are the only team to beat them or help us. JMO

 

I just want to see a clean well officiated game without questionable calls on either side.

 

Bud we know exactly how you feel we played Rhea County @ Rhea and Soddy Daisy @ Soddy Daisy the amazing feat they accomplished should go in the history books and taught to everyone on all levels of the game and that is 80 passing attempts with 1 holding penalty and that was in the forth quarter at Soddy. A professional would have to hold a peewee at least once

OK I deleted my post. I don't want to deal with the mindless fallout of fans from other schools in the tri cities. I will just say sometimes DB at home gets the opposite of homecooking.

It won't matter considering the refs are from other areas of the state... These refs are not region 1 or 2 refs so there won't be any homecooking and should be a great game.

Riverdale from last season had around the same as we did but the differences between the two is that they played 15 games versus our 11.

As of now this game is not being live streamed video. TSSAA does not allow it. At least not until there is money going their way. My info said no stream for the first two rounds.
