SergeantOwl22
Could you imagine if Coach Monroe had these guys all 4 years? These athletes had to learn a new system as well as their coach on figuring out their potential in his system. The Owls will be reloading in the likes of the elite teams in the near future and these up and comers will know his system to the T. Thanks Coach Monroe we are blessed we have had the opportunity to learn from such a legend of the gridiron and class you carry on and off the field. Thanks again and Go Owls! bud
The AP polls are always wrong. East TN media has a much higher participation rate, meaning much of the west and middle TN media just don't vote. You have a high concentration of smaller media sources in east TN and they all vote. Everyone in upper east TN always votes DB#1 even if DB was not really a top 10 team because there are only 2 (two) 5A schools in upper east TN and they all think DB is the toughest team around (which is usually true in upper east TN) DB & Science Hill are the only 5A schools so these are usually the only 5A schools they have seen. These are facts and this is why it happens year after year. If people don't like the AP poll, it is not that it is biased towards DB, it is that Middle and West just don't vote as much as East TN especially upper east TN. These are facts and this is why it happens year after year.

The best thing for both clubs is to go out and give 100% win or lose know you gave it your very best and leave nothing behind. Both should also remember to carry this drive through life and good things will come. Lead by example.
BigReno
OO-OO-Ooltewah better watch out. DB is bringing out a secret weapon in Brennon Fuqua. He is gonna punt and QB the team to a huge win! He may even play a little safety.

bud
Owl fans, was there a player lost for the season at Cookeville? It seemed that someone got hurt (Abraham maybe or someone else) and I was wondering if Abraham or this other person was back.
uncfan13
Heart says Ooltewah (Hey they're a Chattanooga team!), head says DB (3 and half hours, huge crowd, good team, home town refs), stomach says would have to stop on the way for some BBQ. DB by
bud
If you know DB, there are no hometown refs, most don't care too much for DB

bud
Well it sounds like he would have made some noise this year since he was all state as a junior. I wonder if he may still try to play some college ball somewhere?
