SouthernSniper telling people to act mature.... HAHAHAHA Thats funny right there! Skunk, everyteam goes through that every year with injuries, sickness, etc. Ooltewah has also had a lot of key players hurt this year and lost an all state defensive and offensive lineman for the year. Who ever does't make mistakes will win the game.

I'm not the one calling people gay because they didn't choose the owls (see page 6 of posts) so tell sergant owl to act mature. But i do believe that now that Bo is back we have a better shot at Ooltewah

I never said that you were. BUD This will be a great game to watch, what are some things DB does and the play makers that we need to look for since we elaborated on ours?

DB does not have any of what I guess you would call superstar players. This year really is a team effort. I would say probably our punter may actually play his posistion the best. He averages about 40 yards and pins teams deep in their territory. Our running backs change out but I would say Bingham and Maxwell get most of the carries. Our Center (Kilgore) is a big beast of a man. Sensabaugh is the leading receiver and a great defensive back too. Jessee Alley is our leading tackler. Andrew Pappas runs the ball some and is a strong linebacker. Throp is a great, quick punt return, receiver, defensive back. There seem to be different people that step up each week. There are not really superstars, more like a bunch of great football players making equal contributions. Burnette seems to make some big plays, I know I am leaving a few out

This should take you to some stats for DB DB STATS

ImaOWL,

I realize that...injuries are an unfortunate part of the game, for the team and more importantly for the individual...merely pointing out the road travelled by this Indian team...and I agree that the fewest mistakes will be key...as I said many times, two very good teams...

SargentOwl22,

Thanks for the website...

bud,

the D-B stats are not correct, not complete, but still yet informative...

If you think Ooltewah winning is an upset, you might not know high school football.

Yeah, obviously. I must be such an idiot to think that a team that knocked off Cookeville and Oak Ridge could beat a team like DB. Ooltewah is a 10-0 team sitting at 8-2.

Get a life, man. Don't assume, and let everyone post their OPINION. If it makes you mad, TOUGH!!!

I guess you are not understanding what I said. Before you shoot your mouth off again what I said was.........If ooltewah wins Friday night, it would not be considered an upset. As in I agree with what you just said in your reply. Ooltewah appears to be a better team than DB on paper. Thus, it would not be an upset as most people that know football think that Ooltewah has the edge. Think before you post. Good lord! I agree with you and you can't even understand it. You need to edit your last post as you now are wrong.

One more time, Ooltewah winning Friday should not be considered an upset.

Reasons why: They beat Cookeville and Oak Ridge, they lost very little from last year, they are faster, bigger, etc.

I would consider DB winning this game an upset.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
