Congrats to Goodpasture on what must have been a tough game against a tough team....Congrats to Riverside on a great season. I hope to see or at least hear of a few of you playing on Saturday's next season

Riverside High School had the best team on the field this year I have ever seen them have. They were 7 and three very close losses going into the playoffs. They were underated all season and didn't get enough press from Jackson or Nashville. They had heart and guts and were a solid team. I hope several of their seniors go on to Lambuth and Bethel and such. My hat's off to the Panthers. Keep up the good work in Parsons and Decaturville and we'll see you when you come to Camden next year.

Now, I'm not downing Riverside, you guys are a great team. Played your hearts out all season long.

 

But- were those "questionable penalties" holding by any chance?

There were at least 4 illegal procedure calls in the first half alone. Too many guys in motion.

Well Panthers heard you made a game oput of it at first but Goodpasture capitilizedf off some miscues the 2nd quarter. Regardless I have enjoyed watching you and am always amazed at the heart you show at every ballgame. Smith congrats to you on a good season and career. They will surely miss you next year( and years after that mind you). Good luck next year Panthers.
