cav-o
how safe will Fulmers job be with a loss to vandy, exp this season. UT got past memphis vandy might be down after the loss. great question!
Manzikert
HOW BOUT THEM DORES!!! 28-24 in Neyland, drive 63 yards in 4 plays with less than 2 minutes to go and no time outs to score the winning TD. Stop Tennessee on 4th and 1 inside the 5 earlier in the 2d half. Just a gutsy, tough performance. I wouldn't trade Jay Cutler, Moses Osemwegie or Earl Bennett for any other 3 players in the SEC---- and if Cutler went to USC, Matt Leinert would be 2d string. It a good day in Nashville. Fulmer won't be fired.......yet. However, the pressure is officially up from medium to high. Will be interesting to see how he responds.....don't think he is suddenly too thrilled with opening up with Cal next year.
gotmilk?
Congrats to Vandy! Fulmer's job is safe for now, but he will find out from the AD, that he isnt paid $2mil a year to be 4-6!
texas23
There are some teams that you must beat. For Tennessee that is Vandy. For Texas it is Oklahoma. USC must beat UCLA. Ohio has to beat Michigan. The "Great Pumpkin" is in major danger of becoming a pumpkin pie, baked and set out to cool. 2 and 5 in the SEC. Can you say doormat? ERA
I will say the teams that have beaten UT this year that are in the top 25 had to be pulling for UT to win today. Their strength of schedules just took another hit as UT goes down to the lowest of lows. I'll bet even ol' Spurrier kinda wishes UT had won..............................NOT!!! texas23
I will be honest here,,,I was hoping Tn would lose today. There is no sense in having the opportunity to go to a bowl game. We are not worthy. It is actually better that Tn. lost. At least in the future we all can explain it away with a single comment , "Tenn. was beaten by everyone that year, big deal". york10
I was at the game yesterday,Vandy was playing with heart, something TN has not had all year.

voiceofrockets
Cutler may be the BEST QB to come out of the SEC since Manning (Peyton) Wouldnt it be great if the titans drafted him.
