According to what I am being told that is in a bad part of town. The school was built then everything was built up around it. Should be pleanty of police present at the game for you. I would bring an extra tire just in case you never know when someone might do something. Not involved with the school that is.

I was there last year with no problems. If it's at Whitehaven high school then it's off Elvis Presley Blvd. However, don't stop at any convenience stores on that rd. It's not a safe thing to do.

The game is played at Whitehaven. It IS NOT a bad area. Get over the stereotypes and rumors!

 

Elvis Presley's Mansion is in the area. GEEEZ. Memphis is just like any other city. Troubled areas just like Huntingdon, Jackson, McKenzie, etc.

 

Don't get all excited.

 

Millions of people go to Graceland from all around the world............ A few more blocks down the street isn't a cause for great concern!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THERE WILL BE police protection..but you"ll probably have to stay on your side of the field..if concessions and restrooms are on the other side of field ..Do Without!!!!!!!..we Dyersburg have played numerous times in memphis and its not safe..the police realize the problems they pose by playing there and will be there in force...Dont mean to alarm you..Go enjoy the game!!!!!!!!..youll be ok just take all precautions and Dont stop at convience stores alone..Wait till you get outside of 240 loop..im pulling for the Stangs all the way...your team will have to play its best ball from here on in...

You know when we went to Melrose last year so many people were freaked out about which was just silly. Fans worry about going to Pearl Cohn which has been just as silly over the years.

 

Treat people the way you want to be treated, it's the rule we use on the road and it has worked so far!
