They are leaving no doubt that they have one of (if not the) toughest schedules in the state, but you must win the games to prove you are the best team. No team with a schedule like <a href='http://www.coacht.com/inside/team.cfm?SchoolID=37&SportID=3' target='_blank'>Brentwood Academy</a>, Bolivar or Mitchell goes undefeated, but you must win more than your share of the big ones to claim you are the best.

 

It's not about going undefeated as much as it is about testing yourself against the best teams you can schedule. To digress, I wish some of the football coaches around understood that.

 

Your exactly right.I wasnt trying to say there where going undefeated, but all three of those teams are trying to get that "Best in the state" tag by playing each other this year. BA just happens to be one thats peaking right now.

I believe a Bolivar Central and Brentwood game would be a unbeilevable championship. Cant wait til it starts.

Southwest Christian should be pretty good if this guard is as good as they say. From what I have heard Bolivar, Brentwood, and Southwest Christian should be the top three teams.

After seeing all the teams in this tournament, I'm predicting the winner of the Brentwood Academy/Atlanta semifinal matchup (or what I think will be a semi matchup) will win this tournament. I think these are the two best teams in the field. What do you guys think?

i agree brentwood and atl bolivar did not impress me they are not the state champs they were last year

Wow, glad i was wrong about the Atlanta team. Good to see Science Hill pull it out. Should be interesting to see them go against their former coach Pitts tomorrow night. I'm afraid Brentwood is just too powerful though. Heck, can anyone give them a game?
