HighVoltageAC
I really do not know if explosive could even describe it! I do know it would be an awesome show to see. But reality smacks you in the face, what are the odds of that one happening. But you never know! All the problems brewing up at A.C. Anything is possible. The only problems brewing at AC are people like you that post things without facts. I don't know what school you support, if any, but you should probably sweep around your own door step. wizardofwood
OK so maybe the word is contained instead of stopped,but...there is no comparison in a guard and a post player. Have you ever saw the girl from Anderson County go from one end of the floor and go all the way with a defensive girl on her and score all the time? Just like Christopher can't hardly post up on a 6 footer, without getting it blocked. No negative comments to either girl, just an observation and to answer your question, I played college ball and been around it ALL my life. What are your credentials? And are you trying to tell me that there are not many 6 footers around that play ball?? Almost every team has a big girl, thats not to say that there are as many as small as Christopher, but both girls can play and I personally would like to see them on the same team, but???? on one hand there's a speed factor, wonder who would make it down the floor first to score??? Just a thought to consider. This post is not to put anyone down, just a friendly conversation about ball!!! So don't be so ugly or defensive on the comments made by a member OK? Most of the time you have to have both size girls to make a team agreed? Well lets see what question do I start with first..... Yes, I have seen Faith Dupree take it coast to coast, and yes every team might have a 6 foot post player but not one that can play like her unless you talk about the girl from Powell or Oak Ridge. Guards are a dime a dozen these days and by the way since you have such high cradentials how many post season games are won by half court sets compared to who can get out and run. Yes your right about one thing it would be nice to see them play together Christopher could pass Faith the ball but not at OS. Just kidding there with ya you college ball player. Sorry did not mean to hurt the pride. Good to chat a little b ball with ya feel honored!

gapgirl2005
Tracey Shackelford from Cumberland Gap is one heck of a freshman! She's coming off the bench and averaging about 8 points and 7 or 8 rebounds. This girl is the REAL DEAL!
Yamba
Kortni Jones is a very good freshman from Oak Ridge.
Sidetrain
Kortni Jones is a very good freshman from Oak Ridge. Now Kortni(Oak Ridge) can play Point for any school in the country. Kayla Christopher(Oliver Springs) can play point but shines at the two. Regan Thompson(Oak Ridge) can shoot it from the arch. If you do not believe me you can go see them play this fall or wait until this summer and see them all together. Girls Keep up the good work
OS91
Kayla Christopher would have reained at Oliver Springs regardless of who was named coach at Oliver Springs. Kayla could have played at any school in the state of Tennessee ( Oak Ridge & Shelbyville who are tow of the elite programs in the nation), but she chose to play for her hometown. Maybe coming from great OS basketball lineage had something to do with it. When people make ignorant comments that her mother would have bolted if she wasn't name coach is ridiculous. She comes from a first class basketball family. Obviously Coach Christopher is doing something right with a freshman & sophomore dominated team. They just beat Oneida ( state tourney team last year) on their homecourt by 9 this early in the season and is 7-2. Expect this lady Cat team to conintue to improve as it become a very very good team by March under the direction of Coach C.
gapgirl2005
I've watched Thompson play since she was a 5th grader and I agree. She's a very talented player. She's smart, doesn't make bad decisions on the floor, and has a great attitude. It made a big statement about how this area feels about Claiborne High School when her parents moved to Oak Ridge.
