Bradley Central @ Huntsville Invitational

Bradley Central trails (day one of the Huntsville Invitational):

Seven-time defending champion Bradley Central (TN) does not lead the varsity competition after the first day. Scottsboro is first with 73 points. Bradley Central (TN) has 66.5, Prattville 49.5, Bob Jones 44, Hartselle 35, Fort Payne 24.5, Blessed Trinity (GA) and Brookwood 24, Huntsville 22, Arab 21, Sparkman 15, Butler 6 and Buckhorn 3. Competition resumes this morning at 9:30 with championship semifinals and third-round consolation. The tournament is expected to end around 5:30 p.m. "All our kids are still in," Scottsboro coach Chris Staton said. "We wrestled well. We are taking it one match at a time."

Congrats to Bradley......looks like it's going to be long weekend for us next weekend.

Bradley actually did lead after day one. Their pins were accidently left out of the first day total. They were up by 7. Bradley had 255 and Scotsboro had 205 for the final totals according to the Huntsville newspaper. Eight finalists and six champions.
