Siegel at Cookeville

So....where is the respect for a GREAT Cookeville team? Siegel pulled it out, but 2 squeaker wins in the same week could spell a nice loss coming up. I think they are definitely due for one.

 

 

Perhaps Siegel's luck will run out this Tuesday (Franklin HS @ Siegel) Two undefeated teams from different Districts. I hope it's a great game. But please, no OT or Buzzer Beaters!

2P.. I just referred to you in the "squeakers" part. A lot of people seem to think that Siegel is overrated, it's been said numerous times just tonight. So i'm apologize if you think i was referring to you, i was referring to the people that DON'T have respect for the way Siegel plays and DON'T give credit to them. And i know that Siegel isn't the only team that doesn't get credit where credit is due. Many other teams don't get enough credit. Such as all the teams that have almost beaten Siegel.

Tyler Wolf did a great job on jimmy oden all night and practicly held him to probably aroun 15 pts. Taylor Stearman probably held Roper to 15 another great job. The cavs did what they wanted as you could tell they did not want Oden or Roper to beat them. But the factor in this game was Tyler Cutter. He definantly was the key factor for siegel in the win. I would say he had around 20 points. Cookeville and Siegel the way i see it are the 2 best teams in the district and it will be great games everytime they meet. The way Cookeville got beat was not right though Jimmy pushed Wolf of him created just enough space and from about 5 steps behind the 3 point line he knocked down the game winning 3. Great job by Cookeville fighting the enitre game both teams showed great poise and moxy. They will both make deep runs in the postseason great job by both teams and am looking forward to the rematch or rematches between these two teams.

What she is referring to is people continually saying Siegel is overrated they will lose eventually...people are playing them close so they will lose soon enough. I think it is a testament to the experience and coaching of these players that they can be not nearly 100% as a team and still pull out the W vs. Good teams.

The way I see it Siegel beat Cookeville playing Cookeville's game...the 3 ball. Siegel lead most of the way until 1 minute to go when Cookeville took a 68-67 lead. Siegel was balanced all night with Caleb Harper having a huge night. Hennigan WAS Cookeville tonight. He did everything for them. Nobody else really did alot in my opinion besides him. All 5 Siegel Starters were in double figures

What I didn't understand is Caleb Harper was obviously feeling it tonight yet they kept taking him out after he would hit a 3. He scored the first 6 points of the night and then they took him out???? Why

It was amazing to see Jimmy dribbling up the court with 10 seconds to go so non chalantly and then they call a timeout and he looks like he just got out of bed. Kid is so calm under pressure. Everyone in the building knew it was going to him since Darius Roper was injured/fouled out yet he still came through. Great game with 2 really good teams. INCREDIBLE ENDING

BTW you were right cookeville fan forgot which one you were....the game was won a BUZZARD beater hahaah

I thought that the riverdale game was as close as it would get apparently i was way off. Jimmy Oden was as calm as MJ tonight he didnt rush to shoot with 3 second left . He deffinetly blew past the big BAD wolf when it mattered most. Jimmy oden is one of those players that u dont want to consider stopping u just want to contain him. Wolf did contain him well... BUT u cant double team big luke and not have jimmy dominate.Tyler Cutter yelling at Harris how luke had 1 on them was the best fake ive seen all year. They come out and double Big Luke and what happen JIMMY JESUS knocks it down. Great game by both teams. Just glad we got the ball last.

haha yea even though i called it the wrong thing i said this one will come down to a buzzard shot and i was right if i would have been smart and said buzzer but wow that was an awesome game hennigan kinda got a bloody nose there at the end but still made a very important free throw all the 3's seigle hit tonight where amazin how many where there in all?
