icecold06
What do you think ? I have never seen the kid from East Ridge play but I hear he is terrible I saw Carter play the summer before his freshman year and I think he has lots of potential so I am voting for McMasters

redandwhiteforever
Im a scrimmage eariler in the year McMasters had his way with Jurick. Carter had a tip slam over the guy it was impressive. But they do play different positions. BluNWhiteH8Tribe
That dude from East Ridge is a joke...Carter McMasters is definitely the better post player hands down and I look for him to have his way with Jurick when they play... takinit2thehoop
Neither one has really proven anything yet -- so why does it really matter? All they are right now are a couple of big guys that happen to play a little basketball. Neither player is all that great at this time in their careers. Now maybe by next year they will have developed and become players to be reckoned with - but not yet.

McMaster may not be the best, but the kid has a bright future in the remaining years of his high school career...that includes now. You said not yet. McMasters hasn't disappointed anyone so far. He has been playing well for the time being. He is a good player. Edited December 15, 2005 by PBG030
Indian
Just because Grace's player may be more developed right now doesn't mean East Ridge's is terrible, or that he won't be a better player by the team they graduate. Both have the opportunity to earn a free way through college and that's what's important, not some comparison.
DOCTORBALLA
I'm sure that both of these guys will make good players in the future -- but I would agree that neither one is like a superstar yet. As far as which one is better is yet to be seen. From what I've heard the kid from Grace doesn't really stay inside where he belongs and the kid from ER hasn't really developed as a dominate inside player either. But I'm sure these guys (with good coaching and work ethic) will get better as the season progresses. Good luck to both.
EastRidge010
What grade is Carter in? Jurick is just a sophmore so he still has alot of learning to do!
supersteve17
For what it is worth at this point, McMasters is also a sophomore and is being scouted by many D-I basketball teams. He is rated at or near the top of the class of 2008 by Gomab on the coachT boards. He has already been visited at least twice in practices by Tennessee's coaching staff. He also has a standing invitation to be an unofficial visitor (pay his own travel expenses) at all Tennessee home games.
