Freshman teams

I believe the Franklin freshman team is doing well. They've got size & they've got some excellent shooters @ the wing.

Siegel lost to riverdale last night by nine , oakland lost to them by 1 and took siegel into overtime, at Siegel and at Riverdale i might add. They have yet to play at Oakland, so we'll see what happens

All three of these teams are excellent and will see what happens in the tournament because thats all that really matters in freshmen ball

Siegel also beat Riverdale by 12 in their first game in a game they dominated from the tip got up to as much as 20 at the half. If Siegel beats Oakland they lock up the #1 seed for the tourney

Looking at this thread, I think there are quite a few freshman that are going to be doing some contributions in the next few yrs on varsity that we are going to LOVVVVVE watching! KUDOS to all these kids!

wow, for people who accuse everyone else of "making excuses," oakland tends to make ALOT for their freshman. lol .

 

but yea riverdales only losses have came to white co. and siegel and they won their rematch with siegel last night...things are looking good for them. maybe next year or something instead of oakland and siegel being 1 and 2 in the district it will be siegel and riverdale, with white co. at #3, all with the help of the class of 2009...that is if oakland doesnt take anymore players from everywhere else . pokin fun at yall lol. its all goooooooood tho

Freshman are overrated Siegels got every 8th grader in Rutherford that can dunk coming. O by the way they can shoot also. Gooch from central and Hammonds from siegel at Siegel next year. Our Frosh wont be good next year cuz they both will get pt on varsity. I think that kids want to come to siegel kinda like they want to go to riverdale for football. Oaklands good at wrestling though.

Well got their revenge on White Co so thats crossing one of the list of losses the guys need to avenge. More often than not, Oakland has solid, but not great freshmen teams, but the coaching staff does a great job of developing that talent once it reaches the varsity level. White Co, Siegel and Riverdale may have better talent, but I bet Oakland as a TEAM is just as good if not better when all those freshmen are juniors and seniors
