Just my humble opinion,

 

#1. Soddy

#2. Clarksville

#3. Bradley

#4. Springfield

TSSAA did mess this bracket up though.

 

Why would you ever seed on last year's results.

 

Franklin drew #1 and they have been defeated this year by Hendersonville who hasn't stamped their ticket to the duals yet.

it's not just this bracket thats been "messed up", they've done this for a few years now. It also depends on what side of the bracket you're on as to whether you think it's "messed up".

it would be great to have soddy and ooltewah in the finals...an all hamilton co. finals. but then again i would also like to see science hill in the finals. coach price deserves it. he has put in alot of time and hard work into that program. science hill and ooltewah will be a very good match, especially for the round of 16.

There is noway ronnie carter should let soddy and bradley wrestle before the finals.

THE CALL SHOULD BE CONSISTANT. MR.CARTER IS INCOSISTENT WHEN DEALING WITH WRESTLING. aFEW YEARS AGO HE CHANGED THE RULES THAT DETERMINED TIE BREAKERS USED IN THE REGULAR SEASON DID NOT APPLY TO DISTRICT DUALS. mARTIN lUTHER kING TIED SPRINGFIELD IN A DISTRICT DUAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH. tHE SECOND CRITERIA IN THE SCOREBOOK GAVE sPRINGFIELD THE WIN. cARTER OVERTURNED THE DECISION. THE NEXT YEAR IT WAS RULED THAT CRITERIA IN THE RULE BOOK WOULD MAKE THE DECISION IN THE FUTURE. hE HAS THE POWER AND DOES AS HE WANTS.

Congrats on Oakland!! I always wondered about everyone being so convinced that Tullahoma would end up on top. Oakland has always shown potential to win region 5. They remind me of Springfield as far as fight and emotion.

 

Congrats to the Cats on the second-place finish :thumb:

 

Note: I believe this makes middle TN with half the total teams; which shows growth in the area. We SHOULD have a finalist this year, but I'm not so sure we would if Bradley and Soddy were switched to oposite sides.

 

Thanks for the props about Oakland, they are one of the feel good stories of the year considering where this program was just a few years ago after Coach Salty and Coach Hill left, its nice to see the guys return to glory and hopefully they'll be able to keep the tradition of success alive past this season

We go by NFHS Rules, how can he change it. National Federation changed the Tie Breaker Criteria a few years ago. RC does not make the rules.

i agree, that would be pretty kool to see two hamilton county teams in the finals... however soddy has already mowed over ooltewah once, so i dont see too much of a wall there. science hill has a pretty strong team and they do match up with the owls well, however i dont see them loosing to ooltawah..... so im calling... :thumb:

yeah those are some good picks....oh wait i forgot...cleveland didnt quite make it to clarksville, so you might want to make another pick for 4th place

      We are optimistic because we will have another great season. You should keep your opinions on your Forrest Rocket board. These kiddos at Marion have had an amazing off season. They are working hard and it is showing. Coach TStark is getting these kids scholarships to get their college for free. Also Coach Harm is back so this is another awesome thing for our kiddos. Forrest will get theirs when they come to Bill Baxter Stadium this season. My main men Sam, Tay and Tilton are going to do amazing things this season. You should just watch and see what these kiddos are capable of doing. The Marion County Warriors are a force to be reckoned with again this year. East Robertson will be a good team again but that is the only big challenge this team will have again. If we can beat East Robertson like I know we can then we will go to the state championship and win the game. As always it is a great day to be a warrior. Go Warriors! We are Marion!

      The player is only able to go because of the coach who is his dad. The dad is a recruiter not a good coach. HC blamed him for losing the Clinton game in the playoffs.

      I coached both Copeland and Jordan along with Tanner Wilson, Ryan Weaver, Mason Sharp, and Caleb Rittenhouse to name a few.
