I would give my vote to TEAM I-75. They have the best all around players, coaches & recruiting. No matter what the sport, their always one of the top teams.

i think david lipscomb has a pretty solid athletic program. won state in baseball last year, went to the final 4 in boys basketball, girls basketball was decent, and our football team is always deep in the playoffs.

I don't think any school in the state probably has a good all around athletic program...I'd be surprised if there was one that does well consistently in baseball, football, and basketball (mens & womens)...

Take out football (had a winning season but just missed the playoffs) and I don't know how baseball will do this year but Siegel has had a very impressive showing thus far this year in most sports

 

Riverdale should also be taken into consideration

Riverdale comes out every season and does great for all 3 of these programs.

 

Take out football, (we'll be the truth next year though.) and Oakland is doing great, both basketball and baseball have 2 legitamate shots at going to state.

For a small school, Knoxville Catholic has had a great run for the past couple of years. Football has a state runnerup and playoff finalist for the past 3 years, Basketball has gone to the state tourney for the past 2 years, Soccer both girls and boys state runnerup titles, Volleyball went to the state semis, Baseball will have a good shot at a state tourney appearance this year. We've also sent teams to the state in cross country, track and swimming and diving. Pretty solid for a school with 250 boys, most of which play multiple sports.

I think Riverdale has the total package.

wow thats definately a complement for a non riverdale poster to mention us in the first post of the thread...thanks buddy. yea riverdale has it goin on, although they have never gone to the state tournement in girls or boys basketball, both have 20+ wins pretty often and have experienced success.

 

oakland has a great program, but i think riverdale has the upper hand on them right now in 3 of the 4 (with girls and boys basketball considered) and besides the record of our boys team, i feel we are not far behind them in that category.

Actually our basketball teams HAVE BEEN TO STATE in girls i was told we lost to warren county in 79 in the state championship game i do not know if that info is correct or not but i do know our boys went to state in the 80s with tim and leon corder a long with several other good players

Dobyns-Bennett has the best all around athletic program. I know there going be some haters, but I dont care. Football, Basketball, Baseball, and even Track they can do it all. Nobody at least in NE Tenn can say they have better athletics than DB.

just got thru looking at the tssaa records for state champs . the best public school would be D.B. and Oakridge. anyone would love to send there kid to D. B.
